The Fashion Police host is stepping down as the host of E! News on Aug. 10, the network confirmed in a press release. She will remain a co-host of Fashion Police and Live from the Red Carpet. "For more than a decade, I was fortunate enough to play a role in the success of E! News and will miss my family at the show," Rancic said in a statement. "At the same time, I am excited to not only continue as host of two major franchises on E! but also executive produce the aspirational new show Rich in Faith for Oxygen as well as take my wine and clothing lines to the next level. It's been a year and she's still co-hosting the Fashion Police, so I can't really see it as a decision in retaliation for her remarks. Plus she's still doing stuff for E! Giuliana actually didn't have a privileged upbringing and fought through terrible physical problems as a teenager. Her family came over to the U.S. when she was in elementary school and she didn't speak English. They weren't wealthy and they didn't live a privileged life. Everything she accomplished, she worked extremely hard for. Also, she delivered the lines given to her by the writers. They also edited the show and took out part of the comment and that lack of context changed its intent. She still took full responsibility for the comment. I don't think you should feel ashamed but why do you keep referring to her as a "white woman"? What does her skin colour have anything to do with the topic at hand? If someone was posting "I have no shame in calling out ignorant black people" I'm sure it would be labelled as racist.
