VIDEO: Ariana Grande Apologises Again

Actually, no one will ever know if she's being sincere or not. The truth is, people just like jumping into conclusions, that's why petty things like these get bigger than they already are. Yeah, she's a media personality, she needs to be a goody-two-shoes in front of everybody, BUT she made a mistake, just like the rest of us would do. And people start judging her personality ? That's wrong, especially when she's a celebrity, and whether you like it or not, YOU have no clue about her personal life. YOU should start judging her when you actually get to know her a lot in person. Just criticize her action, not her personality. It's way more normal that way.. as normal as human beings being stupid at times. I'm a fan of Ari, but I can admit she did something bad, but that doesn't make her any less of a human being.

She apologized. Don't let that go over your tiny minds by your assumptions.

exactly I don't undersatnd it.

Ariana is a public figure, who having the public like her somewhat is an important component to her career. Unlike some people here, she is old enough to understand that the perception of the public could end up making or breaking her.

Her PR team did a horrible job directing her (or writing) her first (non) apology. No one, but her blind fans, was buying that first apology that was full of deflection and was ignoring the rudeness and bizarre behavior. So, she had to regroup and actually own up to her entitled, rude and disgusting behavior. This apology is damage control, PR 101, and what she should have done in the first place.

No, Ariana didn't have to apologize, but if she didn't want to come across as the female version of Bieber, she knew she had to do something. The problem here was that the curtain was pulled back and everyone saw a rude, entitled brat, and that wasn't the image she wanted stuck in everyone's head going forward as a public figure. It was a good business decision to make a more sincere apology and one that didn't ignore and deflect.

sorry this just doesn't seem genuine. Her manager probably told her to make this.

I'm glad she's been apologizing. Honestly though, while I was upset about her bratty behavior and glad she got called out on it, I wasn't THAT upset. People act like she's a terrorist. I think people are blowing this up way too much. I don't buy for one second she hates her country (and I think we would be hard pressed to find a citizen that hasn't said something similar behind closed doors) but I guess I'm not too terribly surprised at the reaction. However, if she's making a public apology for the second time, then I'm guessing the press against her is having an effect. It would be good if she could figure out a way into turning this into something positive such as spreading awareness about healthy eating habits.

Just repeat to yourself, "It's just a show. I should really just relax."

I don't buy it if I'm completely honest, and I actually think the only person she needs to apologize to is the doughnut lady for being rude and licking the donuts. I don't really respect the pandering to the internet to save her image rather than standing by what she said.

I mean she said she "I hate america" clearly in a joking reference about the size of the doughnuts, she then explained that in her first apology. She shouldn't have to be pressured into kissing people's a** because they can't handle her opinion about a f****** doughnut. :saladga:

Fox News got whole segment "Ariana vs. America", as if she's some public enemy #1.

White anchor called her "estupida", assuming she's Latina.

Seriously. And that "estupida" remark, I can't even (of course it's Laura, so :lolgaga:).

Just repeat to yourself, "It's just a show. I should really just relax."

People refusing to acknowledge her sincere & mature apology just goes to show how they never cared about the actual scenario as much as they only viewed it as an opportunity to bash her.

no actually it doesn't have to do with that. Her first apology was insincere to the point that she had to make a second public apology. If she was really sorry for her actions she would have said it the first time, not the second time after receiving backlash for her first apology.

So yes, it raises speculation as to if this apology is about her being really sorry for what she did or if she is just trying to save her public image. If she just made this video in the first place, or owned up to the fact that she acted like an idiot (as implied in this video) it wouldn't have been this much of a problem.

We should all just forgive her and move on. Although I have to use a quote I always heard when growing up, "Character is how you behave when no one's watching." While she has apoligized, I can't quite believe her when she says that's not the way she usually is. I still like her though and we're all entitled to say how we feel, even if it's a bit misguided sometimes.

She addressed her issues with the food industry in the original post, she was frustrated and clearly overwhelmed at that time so as she herself stated ; she missed an opportunity to express herself properly, again she herself owned up to that and decided to make this video, which she's not obligated to do so. And the fact that you had to bring up her first post in order to invalidate her proper apology is just disgusting on many levels which only goes to prove my point.

Really? Really she was frustrated with the food industry? Even if she was making a comment about the food industry with her "I hate America" speech rather than just whining why doesn't she actually engage in some public health initiatives to help reduce obesity/diabetes/heart disease across the country. I so far have seen no action made by Ariana that supports her passionate claims of her frustrations with the American Food Industry (besides her claim that she is vegan).

i have no doubt that she doesn't like the American diet or probably wishes it could be healthier. But by just make rude comments it implies that she is being judgmental (you know, what you claim we are being with her).

And my issue isn't about the "I hate America" comment, it's her immature and disgusting behavior caught on camera when she assumed that nobody was looking. It speaks volumes about her character. Again, we all make mistakes but I just think her level of stupidity on that video was truly immature.

No, she was frustrated due to the overwhelming response from the public. Ariana considers herself to be a health advocate and she had previously collaborated with campaigns regarding this issue, she's also vegan & promotes veganism every chance she gets. No one is denying that she acted like a total ****, including Ariana herself. But like I had already said ; If this had to be her wake up call then so be it, she grew up in front of the entire world and maybe her surroundings never cared to comment on her attitude, so because of that she should be endlessly blamed and judged till the end of time? what a ridiculous mentality! the fact that she's owning up to her actions only shows signs of maturity. You don't get to have a say on whether she's sincerely sorry or not, that's so disgusting. She should be forgiven, period. And if you still feel like you're some sort of a sophisticated, entitled individual that has the right to judge her then you're just as much of an annoying prick. (not directing that statement to you by the way, but to everyone that acts that way).
