gagaohlala 810
I'm just tired with all your Rock Album thread. I'm a Gaga fan, I like listening to a lot of kind of music, but I'm really here for PopGa. And I hope LG5 will be exprimental Pop/Electronic. It's what I like the most and that's why I'm a Gaga fan. Maybe a Rock influended Album like Born This Way, but she already did it.So not here for that, and please stop thoses thread. We will just see and of course if it's a rock album (whicj I doubt), I will listen to it and see if I like it like C2C. PartySick 159,829
most of rock fans are too pretentious so i dont think a lot of them will give her a chance hope she convinces them that she is talented This. I have a sort of friend on facebook who's one of those "pop music is all s-x and d--gs, rock is where real expression lies"...elitist dude...all he had to say about her Oscar's performance is that he was surprised that she didn't "take her clothes off and writhe around on stage while singing about disco penises" 🌸Flourishing and vibrant🌼

Sister 9,907
Good riddance then. Gaga will never lose her performance skills and charisma, she owns the stage, she has the chops and raw talent. Those who will leave her for not staying in one genre all her life --> most of the rock fans are more loyal anyway, they can wait longer for their faves album and they don't just abandon them for a stupid reason. If she wins them over, she'll have even more solid and loyal fanbase for life. This is so perfectly true! I always seem to go back to that conversation about loyalty and I see that most newer fan communities just do not have it and growing up as a rock fan, particularly metal, we had it and still do, in buckets. Kids now justdo not get this at all. So a song is five years old, why would you HATE it now? So a singer is not in the papers, why wouldn't you still love them as you always have? I am around little preteens and teens and we often have this conversation. Why must it be trendy and new ALL of the time and why can't you and the artist grow old together? It is like self gratification or something, if my favorite artist is slaying the charts, I am winning along with them, if not, I go to the new thing that is winning. Such wrongful thinking and being too careful and it is also not any fun. The future's uncertain and the end is always near.
Levine 23,562
Songs with rock vibes that still getting played on top 40, of course we don't mean a 100% pure rock album.

Kayla 7,595
This. I have a sort of friend on facebook who's one of those "pop music is all s-x and d--gs, rock is where real expression lies"...elitist dude...all he had to say about her Oscar's performance is that he was surprised that she didn't "take her clothes off and writhe around on stage while singing about disco penises" Rock enthusiasts can stay mad because Gaga's the best rockstar this decade has seen. :MANiCURE: I mean, honestly. Have they seen rockstars nowadays or listened to their lyrics? No one "ROCKS" anymore and I find more and more that modern rock is cringeworthy. There's still good stuff there, but the genre as a whole lacks the creative integrity it used to be known for. I could just be reluctant to move on past the 90s, but modern rock isn't exactly groundbreaking or intelligent like it used to be. Gaga can put on a better rock show singing pop music and she's got the praise of rock legends backing her up.
TimisaMonster 31,073
Does RedOne make rock music? He can make rock inspired tracks but straight up drums and and no bass...nope Not here for screamGa and no dance pop music... However...if this is what she's doing Stream my new single, 💜"Heartbeat"💜, on Spotify!

We've had plenty of princesses over the past few years, it's time to get some good bands and rockstars like Gaga back in the spotlight . Arguably Coldplay has been one of the last "big" bands to rise to the absolute top, and they had their debut like a decade and a half ago . All these posts: Rock fans can be huge elitists and total dicks sometimes, but the good ones are dedicated to the core. We hold on to our classics, we continue to praise them, and there isn't this "competition" between artists that exists in pop. I'd love to see that again. Unfortunately it seems popular rock music is falling into the same issues pop music has, so my hope is we can bring back some of the integrity along with the genre itself. Benji 20,113
I don't mind what she makes as long as she gets a producer on board that knows what they're doing and she gives it her all. She'd be amazing making rock but I want her to work with some real experts... I don't want her to throw together a 'rock' album with DJWS or RedOne or anyone like that
VforVendetta 2,024
I'm pretty sure lots of fans stopped paying attention to her after she started doing JazzI am also sure I will not be the only person who discards her if she doesn't deliver AMAZING music with LG5. The longer you are in the business the harder it is to gain new fans because people already decided what they think about you. So if she does go for Rock it better slay because I'm at my wits end with this womanIt's not like she gains more and more fans with each release, you can also be left behind. Just look at what is Happening to BritneyI think you are spending a lot of time in here for being angry to Gaga because you didn't like the last album or something and worrying that much about her career moves. Did you know that Pink floyd, one of the greates rock bands (and musicians in general tbh) had half of their albums being a failure critically, even for most of the fans and many still argue for their quality till today? You can't like everything a musician releases and you can't expect him to do everything you want so that you can be pleased, it's pointless. As for the thread, I believe it would be a bad movie. Most Pop singers turning into rock stars don;t convince the public because they lose their hardcore fanabase and have trouble into getting hardcore rock fans (that deny to follow a former Pop star). Also most believe the artist is thirsty for success and attention. It'd a bad move for this part of her career. At her late 30s or 40s it would be ok but now it's a big NO.
