I'm not an idiot, I know the difference between shade and a straight up diss. Also noticed a little favoritism going on. I forgot about the whole Britney vs Avril thing. I remember there being a minor backlash when Avril first came out, many called her a straight up poser but there was also some hate from the Britney community. If I remember correctly (and what the list seems to confirm) Avril was constantly attacking Britney, I guess to compare the two to show how Avril was the more "authentic" performer, or whatever. I remember a lot of hate sites dedicated to her, which I think doubled in size when the Britney fans got on board. (seems all twelve year olds did then were build hate sites) I also remember the Britney vs Christina deal. The media was definitely in on that one too. Lots of hate sites there too.
