Well, saying it's evidence of a hack isn't really an explanation, so pretty much anything would be better IMHO. It's evidence of a bug, that's all. But why only this video would be affected, I don't know. I'd assume there were others, and look for them. Usually when I see something like this, it means that too small a size was chosen for a signed integer counter, and it overflowed into the negative. But as others have already pointed, this could be simply an issue of a bug within the YouTube system. Even though the notion that views can be bought and manipulated - like any statistics on every single social media site, Roar's views aren't far from the potential reality. Weeks ago, I wouldn't understand why they chose it as the 2nd single... but things are different now for me. It's quite a good song actually, a very good love song.
