I love that song but Juicy J ruined the best part which could have been a rather epic trap breakdown. It's a smart choice after 'Unentertainingly' and the charts will love it. I already fear for the video though  :toofloppy:

Unconditionally was her Judas.

And "Dork Horse" is "The Edge of Glory", the smash song that should have been the second single. Expecting her to get in a fight with the video director and to end up realeasing some basic video tbh.

it'll sure be a hit, its Katy Perry the radio will play it even if everyone hates it. But the question is how much of a hit? Plus everyone's saying that Uncle was a bad choice... MMMMmmm I think it was all planned. Look at it:

1) Roar was everywhere and it began to annoy people so much. she smashed with this song
2) Uncle was like the right low-key ballad song she needed to be on the low for 1-2 months and just do "her" thing
3) so she can come back even stronger with a more urban pop song that will smash again --> DH enters the world.

think about it.

I still think the song is inconsistant and she is awful live singing like a  Dead Horse

Pretty sure Katy will never fight any director/executive/manager/producer.  She likes being their b---h.

Yeah that's true, and it's not that she needs a fight with a director to release a basic video anyway.

I think you are thinking too much.

Unconditionally just flopped, there wasn't any thinky plan behind it.
