She was always removing her wigs to show the girl underneath it all with dark hair. Did she ever really feel "Gaga" during ARTPOP? It seemed like she was trying to reinvent who she was and break all the rules she set in place. Maybe this the start of her busting out the rule book again. I'm predicting no more flat shoes as well. A good quality demi- or semi-permanent hair dye is actually GOOD for your hair, like a deep conditioning treatment. Cheap box dyes, permanent dyes, and bleach are what damages your hair. Of course you do have to bleach to go blonde but if you do it slowly, use the lowest volume developer you can, and do a good conditioning mask afterwards (Gagz used coconut oil) and are gentle to your hair for your day-to-day routine you can keep your hair in healthy condition!! :)You're right, she was indeed losing her hair around the end of the Monster Ball, when she went super short. Probably her hair was already damaged from when she bleached it herself the first time, and the fact that she used her real hair a lot of nights for the tour with extensions in it, every night blow drying her hair, loading it up with hair spray and extensions, sweating in it, etc... eventually caused it to break off. But she let her hair rest for a couple years and has probably learned a lot about taking gentle care of platinum locks. :) I'm so glad the blonde hair is back, it will make her wig hairlines look natural!
