You won't be lost as they have different storylines in each season different characters, setting, plot etc. (although using recurring actors)

But you should watch it anyway it slays

I recommend season 2 because it is the darkest and most interesting/entertaining imo

you may need a couple of episodes to get into the whole dark/horror vibe but hunty once you're into it, you won't want to get outta it

Yes! Each season is set in a different era, with different characters, a different storyline etc but the same actors. Each season is linked, and weve seen a few small links, but apparently in season 5 and future seasons, we will see bigger links. Still, if you want to get the overall feel of the show, definitely watch the first 4 seasons! It's a really good show

​I don't remember seeing any clown in seasons 1-2-3, so you should be fine.
