DrewStevens 5,249 Posted May 14, 2015 Share Posted May 14, 2015 We got it, but her acting as an "alien" was just horrible, maybe it was meant to be, but it was still tragic OT: i liked the video, its funny and cute, it made me want to listen to the song, pretend i'm a white girl, get a frapuccino at starbucks, and wash my man's car on a hot summer day .. they're not trying to be artistic clearly, some artirst are just fun, and i think thats okay.. Some people didn't. I saw a few post saying that it was not consistent because she was acting different in her verse and other people said she was bad at acting like a dumb girl when she is supposed to act like an alien acting like a dumb girl. I think as an alien, she did a terrific job sounding fake and plastic and manufactured like a pretty girl.It's cute. I didn't expect anything groundbreaking or serious.I don't get why some of you are so critical about this kind of videos. Sometimes artists take theirselves too seriously and this proves that Britney and Iggy can make fun of theirselves and have fun with it. Another thing I think some may not get is why Iggy acted like and idiot and then she was normal. I think that as an "alien" she was pretending to be a pretty human girl. So she was indeed acting while acting.Guys the plot was pretty easy to get. Iggy still overdid that scene so much and it looks completely awkward when before and after she is miming along to the song and delivering her rap like she is completely normal.She didn't have to get so mono-tone, stiff and weird. Anyway I don't think it's a big deal, the music video itself is silly. To be honest I think Iggy looked more natural than Britney while acting, but she has never been a good actress so... But the only thing I like and could vividly remember from the entire video was during its last few seconds when Britney was giving the creepy smile like a five-year old who just saw a newly opened candy store. The rest were pretty much forgettable like the song itself, unfortunately. I even find the music video of 'Me Against The Music' more enjoyable to watch (and re-watch) than this, and that's one of my least favorites from Britney Spears.
