Anyway I just want something brand new. She doesn't have to be "dark" or "colorful" there can be something in between. If she does dark again it'll look desperate and try hard and if she does colorful again it'll be too tacky like born this way and ARTPOP. Delete 258 Posted May 3, 2015 Share Posted May 3, 2015 I'm here for a "Dark" era, but not like what you're imagining. I want more stripped down songs with serious subjects. Not preachy subjects, but personal things about her life. I'd say the color palette should be less black, white, red....and more toned down/neutral colors. For example, Madonnas video for Frozen is a great example of something that has a dark theme without having to be literally dark like the Born This Way video.
