But she did not pave the way for EDM and all types of Electronic music. Dubstep is nowhere near what Gaga made nor what was popular and became huge by itself in the US between 2010 and 2012.Also, Electronic music was a pop thing in the 90s so it's not like Gaga was the first artist to do electro type pop music and it wasn't anything new. hop on that **** like a maniac Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Gaga took that and made it a little less urban and a little more electronic, although her early singles and image were still pretty urban. Disturbia and Womanizer were both huge electro hits before Just Dance hit it bigJD was released before them bet you they heard JD and ripped off it's style. Just Dance was such a fresh new sound I had never heard on radio before and then Poker Face and Love Game really established her sound! Also RedOne became SUPER popular after this...along with Zedd who was a nobody but after working with her...everyone wanted to Stream my new single, 💜"Heartbeat"💜, on Spotify! Progressive House is the genre of that song which is a subgenre of EDM but you can't say she made EDM popular because, she didn't. She didn't make A BUNCH of genre's popular.
