This isnt like the ARTPOP app. Just because Troy was a CO-founder, it doesn't mean she can't or won't use the site anymore. she updated her profile recently and uploaded new lyrics a few months ago that barely anyone knows about. Also there isnt other exclusive or interesting content on it that makes me wanna visit it either so why even bother on opening the site or downloading an app? Gaga. That app is all about little monsters and their art which is a nice idea but the truth is many people just aren't interested in that - well at least not in the way it's presented, they just wanna see gaga. GGD is the best source for news (and most accessible - as posts often get lost on the LM website) So LM.com needs to occupy a space that's not currently filled by something else (GGD fills most required by LMs.) So what is it about LM.com that could make it unique? The chat function - requires adequate moderation by staff as people got turned off by people promoing their posts. A more user friendly chat? When there are lots of people that tiny chat box can get confusing! Also gaga emojis!!! Potential for a video chat (think tinychat - I was part of a littlemonsters tinychat back in the day and it was really popular and I made some good friends there.) Tour dates and finding out who's going to the ones you're going to is brill. Gaga related art is good too - when you can pick and choose the kind you want (think deviantART but with the option to filter out stuff you don't wanna see.) Stricter moderation with respect to **** pics etc (ugh people claiming body revolution wheen really they wanna show off their junk) if I wanna see that **** I go to tumblr. I know people would complain about it being against creative freedom but people really don't wanna see **** left, right and centre. It just started to feel a bit like grindr with people playing it off to be art (by taking advantage of the no limits thing.) Maybe have a section of the site dedicated to nude art and people can check or uncheck it as to whether they want to be able to view it without actively looking for it? The looking for popular posts is good, but a simple and clear route to seeing what gaga has posted recently would be nice - I feel I have to root around a bit to find her page (despite it only being a click or two away.) Overall the layout and user friendliness needs to be improved somewhat too, I like the tumblr-esque scrolling but the posts need to be better seperated (in terms of colour/contrast etc) and the comment, likes and "write a comment" section need to be clearer (they all blend into one.) Also when you can't see a few comments on a post the feels dead - I feel like there's no-one active at all yet all posts have at least a few comments especially in the "hot" tab. Yes this post has 32 comments and yes I just read that it does but it doesn't really sink in. I dunno maybe I'm just weird. But yeah it felt like a lot of "GAGA-NOTICE-ME-SENPAI" and then when you didn't get noticed you just logged out. So the focus needs to be shifted away from the notice me stage (it has already cos she doesn't use it ) but as long as it doesn't go back to that. It isnt exactly like facebook or twitter either. The features on of the site, in terms of posts, how you connect with other users is pretty much like a hybrid of FB and twitter, but for Gaga fans. The Backplane/Place team now has 3 monster moderators (Valari and My friend Elena and I (Elena and I share one account, though) and one of the things being done is an improved chat with better moderation. And even specific times for speficic chats. E.G. - "Join the chatroom on Friday 4PM EST to chat with monsters and make new friends! Hosted by Elena and Anthony!" We now have Gaga emoticons Video chat hasn't been discussed but I can definitely bring that up in our next meeting The tour date function is great, and is still there and always will be. We have groups now (Fan Art, Gaga Pics, etc) and each group will soon have sub-groups/tags! I have the ability to delete any nudes (there's even a guideline of when to delete a post, even if it isn't completely nude but its edgy etc) and I have already deleted many We also now have the NSFW tag which blocks out posts, and can be viewed by clicking on the big NSFW square over the post. NSFW posts are NOT NUDES and they do not allow anyone to post nudes. People don't do the nude art thing anymore. We now have a 6 strike rule where if you have 6 posts deleted in total, for bullying, or spam or nudes etc you get banned. Not sure if it's permanent or not but we are really cracking down on bullies and fake accounts and people who post nudes etc On the right hand side of the desktop site, there's a little box and Gaga is at the top so you can get to her account in an instant. When talking about the posts blending together, are you referring to the app or the actual site? People are VERY beyond that whole 'Gaga notice me please' state. Thanks for all of that! But yeah most of the stuff you mentioned has already been solved/fixed but ill try to see if I can sort out the other stuff you mentioned.
