KyliesChild 16,907
It is their fave? For example: Many Britney fans will love anything she does like if she releases an album of her queefing with a bit of autotune some will squeal of excitement. Or even us monsters if we had to choose between her and another artists work some choose Gaga because it's Gaga. And some people even admit that. They are just like “Who? Well I'll choose Gaga because GAGA." And how other monsters get furious when you don't like what their fave did. Please And even the opposite. Like, Katy can sing astonishingly and people will hate it because it's...... Katy.Perry. Now, do you admit that you do that also? Or do you hate it? Discuss please. Haroon 49,685
I do dislike it when people disregard any other options just because someone they like is one of the choices Like okay you may be a bit biased, but at least try to give the others a chance If I haven't heard the other choices then I do pick the ones I know by default, but that's because that's the only choice I can make in the moment I personally try my best to approach situations from a point of neutrality, whether I succeed or not I don't know, but I hope so

RAMROD 109,698
I support my faves tbh, there's no shame, nothing wrong with that. Besides, it's not like I shun another genres unlike some that only exclusively listening to one genre. liz89 373
Yes, I think we all do this from time to time..I'd say it's human. However, I try to be kind of objective when it comes to certain things and not to say "Oh I like this just because it's Gaga" or whatever..I also hate it when people can't be objective tbh. KyliesChild 16,907
Receipts? When did this happen? I used that as a example since many of you guys seethe her. I'm not saying she is a good singer neither a bad one, it is only an example.
Wolf 1,328
It depends, because I like to view music objectively. I assess the quality without even being biased of my opinion, just because of the artist
StrawberryBlond 14,881
It try to be objective no matter what. Looking back on TF, it wasn't all that awesome, but I thought it was at the time. And it was hard not thinking of AP as perfect as I so wanted it to be. But I think it's not good to put your faves on such a pedestal, as you'll only be let down all the more when they release something you genuinely dislike. I was hyped for Bionic when I was an Xtina fan and it broke my heart to have waited 4 years for an album that was just ok. It's tough when your fave releases something that you struggle with but pretending to like it doesn't solve anything. It'll only encourage the artist to release more rubbish and you continue to suffer as a fan and waste your money hoping they'll get better. Stay for the bits you like, leave for the bits you don't, as that'll send a clear message to the artist about the kind of music they should be making. But blindly supporting everything they do, no matter how bad? In that case, you can't complain if they keep churning out bad albums because you feed the demand. I was cringing at all the Britney fans claiming that Britney Jean was a good album - as a Britney fan, I can honestly say that was her worst album and she hasn't been herself since Circus. I know music's objective, but...come on.
Sister 9,907
No. I can just accept that. We are all different and come about liking things differently. The future's uncertain and the end is always near.
PrinceGaga 7,585
I'm neutral because putting hate into the world is not good I'm jk but I honestly am neutral. I find it kinda sweet that there are people who would defend their fav and love everything they do despite their struggles. Like us with ARTPOP tbh (although I genuinely love the album, others bought it and stuck with Gaga even though they weren't a fan of it) Idk. When it comes to fan fights, like they really shouldn't be happening anyway because they are usually petty "when will your flop fav" etc when that's kinda irrelevant cause all artists are different ya know? Anyway I rambled on for way longer than I thought I would and it probably makes no sense cause I'm tired I'm finished now xo
