Yeah :air: We're eventually entering the 21st Century though and we'll be the first country in the world (iirc) to pass it through a referendum/popular vote.

It's bern legal in the country I live in since 2000, and our current prime minister is gay :coffee: this country also legalized marihuana use before it was cool :coffee:

I hope a left-wing party wins Israeli elections. Right-wing parties like to put emphasis on defense, security, etc. which is bad for the situation in Palestine. I think that a leftist party is more likely to help both Israel and Palestine in the situation.

Well my Country had the very FIRST same-s-x marriage in modern times (in 1989) and many other before 2003 because of individual court rulings :P

thats funny cuz here in North America our left winged parties are actually more stigy with the military

in the US the Republicans want defence cuts the Democrats do not support... And in Canada the Conservatives (currently in power) are reluctant to raise spending on defence like the Liberals want

that could be cuz right-winged Governments dont like spending a lot on anything period because they are all about taxing less and spending less and letting private sector and business investment take over

Really? :hmm:

In my country the socialist party wants to cut all defense spending, while the right-wing parties (the liberals here) prefer a more autocratic state with efficiency, economic growth and freedom for business and people (here even the nationalist party supports gay marriage, in fact they're very pro-gay marriage simply because Muslims are anti-gay).

But in Israel I'm sure Netanyahu aims for more defense spending, don't know about the left-wing parties though. Just hoping for peace in Palestine and Gaza, which would require less radical parties on both sides.
