I remember a few years ago Kanye said Rihanna has one of the most iconic voices in pop history, and he made incredible use of it here. She sounds even better without all the autotune and polish. It means she is an established artist on radio and that the song has a radio deal. Either way, Radio seems to support her. G.U.Y could have deserve the same treatment tbh. That's actually higher than any previous Rihanna lead got in it's first week. We Found Love peaked at #11 in it's first week and Diamonds peaked at #4. Her singles usually take a few weeks to take off but this one seems to be gaining steam faster, and it's got a Grammy performance in two weeks.
