Thinking of Lana singing White Christmas or Silent Night makes me instantly think of dozing off. It's not because she sucks or is boring, it's because 1) Christmas albums are supposed to be family albums but I don't think little kids would like her and 2) Lana's best songs are borderline pop songs, not ballads. The Paradise version isn't my thing, but I like it because she obviously felt the need to re-interpret it for Paradise, I like that she did that.
