Guest
Mine's 24 with a dark red update i absolutely love LDR and the new song to death. i'm just surprised it was used as the soundtrack's lead single and not Over The Love. doesn't florence have more of a name for herself than lana? i think OTL is definitely the superior song and would've had more potential to win awards than YAB. idk, does anyone agree/see what i mean? i think OTL could've been skyfall-sized I'm sure Lana's team asked them to make Y&B the lead single. If she does not have a hit, her career in the US is doomed.

If she does not have a hit, her career in the US is doomed. She hasn't had a hit after 2 albums. That's the least of her concern tbh Also, we have a charts topic so can be not keeping posting its position post after post

Besides she never even had a career in the US to begin with.
Guest
She has a solid fanbase in the US, she doesn't need a hit. Besides she never even had a career in the US to begin with. She sells albums with no promo. BTD almost topped the charts and her two EPs charted inside the top 20. Furthermore every now and then Born to Die still appears on Billboard's album charts. She's an album artist (especially in the US) and it wouldn't hurt if she'd have a single hit on the Hot

If she does not have a hit, her career in the US is doomed. i see what you're saying, i'm just saying OTL would've been the better lead single for YAB, and while YAB is a really beautiful song, it's not going to win any awards like i feel flo potentially could've with OTL :)

drinkmytears 2,332
She has a solid fanbase in the US, she doesn't need a hit. Besides she never even had a career in the US to begin with. That's not true. Look at her album sales. She's a huge topic on the internet she's googled more than Gaga. Her videos have huge amounts of views from the USA and she has covered magazines here. To say she has no career is a little unfair, she isn't seen as a mainstream artist. Mine's 24 with a dark red update I'm sure Lana's team asked them to make Y&B the lead single. If she does not have a hit, her career in the US is doomed. Doomed? She hasn't had a hit, she's probably grown as much as she ever will. Also Video Games charted on the Hot 100 and a lot of her songs have been on other charts.
