Cruelty 6,172 Posted February 21, 2015 Share Posted February 21, 2015 So basically on UK radio there's this radio show called "Desert Island Discs" which has basically been on since the dawn of time, and on it every week or whatever there's a different celebrity guest and they have to imagine they're going to be stuck on a remote island cut off from the rest of the world forever and they can't be rescued (I know, sounds a bit grim) and they have to pick eight pieces of music, a book and a luxury item that they'd take with them to the island. So... let's play Gaga Desert Island Discs! I've adapted the rules slightly... You have to pick: a) EIGHT individual Gaga songs b) ONE Gaga concert DVD (doesn't have to be an officially released DVD, just pick one of Gaga's tours) c) ONE other item of Gaga merchandise that you'd take with you to a desert island with no hope of rescue. So basically these are the Gaga things you could not live without. If you want you can give reasons for your choices. I'll go first: Music: ARTPOP, Venus, Paparazzi, Summerboy, Bad Romance, Speechless, Born This Way, Bang Bang DVD: Swinefest, because it's my favourite ever single Gaga show, and it's a way to include some of the ARTPOP songs I didn't include in my music picks. Although I wouldn't have toothpaste, so I guess it wouldn't be that useful. Maybe the meat bandages, but if I'm on a deserted island, I feel like those wouldn't last very long.
