This comment was in article on the Daily Mail, where the usually hate gaga (old madonna stans)

But this comment actually made sense and made me think

the Gp is finally getting Gaga (except Gaga's message is more like "Do whatever makes you happy")

I think that Lady Gaga is an artificial chameleon-like personality, distinctly different and separate from Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta. She is not imitating Madonna, she's just trying on different exteriors. She's not even looking for a good one, she's simply stepping from one costume into another, never exactly repeating herself and she's not necessarily looking for something that is s-xy or classy or tasteful it just has to be noticeably different and in some way provocative. Her message isn't even remotely similar to Madonna's "Do you're own thing" Gaga's message is "Do absolutely everything, at least once."

Destiny is for losers. It’s just a stupid excuse to wait for things to happen instead of making them happen

Except she's said numerous times that there isn't a Stefani underneath the Gaga, they're one and the same.

Why can't all these costumes/exteriors be part of her identity? I don't really see a need to nail down one 'true' identity beneath it all. I reckon she does whatever makes her happy at the time. And those things change.

I don't agree with the first part, but I especially agree with...
