technically no, :ohwell:

but thats not how it is. "the fame monster" is a single entity. its was an idea even. physically represented at TMB

those other 2 were attempts to immitate The Fame (Monster)'s two double release schtick but they couldnt be clever about it so they added a colon

Gaga titled her first album The Fame. Her re-release of the album with extra songs is called The Fame Monster.

Do you really think that if her first album weren't called The Fame, it'd be called The Fame Monster?

Monster's clearly the title track. "The Fame Monster" isn't a solo concept, that name itself is based on the first album.

Yes. Just think of it as a re-release/deluxe edition of The Fame.

Such as:

Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded

Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection

..The Fame: Monster

If it were just the EP, it would be called Monster.

That's very interesting I never thought of it that way

But it would be hard to think of it having a colon.... Like ive been thinking of it as The Fame Monster since 2009 and now to think of it as The Fame: Monster seems weird.... I agree with how you describe the logic behind it but I hate the colon haha I just don't like seeing it there, it seems cheap to me for some reason

I always consider it to be, so in my eyes; yes.

For me, The Fame Monster is an extension album, a sequel to The Fame. The Fame has the title track The Fame, and so The Fame Monster has just Monster, since that's what is added to the album title.

The Fame Monster. Yes. It could've easily been called Monster, but the marketing of it as a re-issue of The Fame probably had a lot to do with including "The Fame" in the title. And I'm pretty sure she said before that she had already written "Monster" before she named the album, so she obviously got the idea from that song before she named it.

Yes Monster is the EPs "title track" essentially and it's the third best on the record. Her title tracks are always in my top 3 (except BTW, even Cheek to Cheek is ffs)
