She was obviously planning on lip synching or they wouldn't have been playing the vocals on the first place.... But she fully intended lip-syncing the performance, if the vocals had not started out-of-sync. If she didn't plan on lip-syncing it, the vocal track wouldn't have been cued at all. I mean, I like the girl, but she's definitely not above a lip-synced performance or two. She might have even been better off with that backing track for that performance, considering how shaken the vocals are Let's say she did intend to lip-sync even though we're not 100% sure. You still haven't found a video of her actually lip syncing We actually don't know if she planned to lip sync that day. They played the exact track, it would've been so obvious. And about the Roar performance, on the beginning of the video, you can hear Perry singing the song, while the track was on. I think it was technical issue from the tv transmission, and not on the venue. listen to 1:15 carefully, she was singing live, like I think she is going to do next Sunday.
