hmm 979
Because that's exactly why my "personal experience 'allowes' me to discredit Israel's (relatively) poor ranking". Look, I've already said what my opinion is. You don't have to accept it & that's fine with me as long as both opinions has the place. There's serious flawed logic to that though; you're therefore admitting that your thought process went something like - sees list; sees Israel with "noticeable problems"; realises that for Israel's case it's wrong; posts lists anyway on the assumption that it's right for every other country? There's never been a question of whether or not I'm accepting your opinion though because that's entirely besides my point (beyond my initial quoting of Goose)

hmm 979
Read what I said in my first comment to you. "Censorship for national security. Be sure Israeli press about politics & other sections are free just like those of Europe."? I'm not sure how that changes anything

I'm not sure how that changes anything Right, that's what I've said, and right after it added: "I know the stats says otherwise, and I explained why". I admitted freedom of press in my country is flawed compared to other democracies & I explained the reason behind it. I never justified it or denied. Stop judging me with your European arrogance. Don't belittle my intelligence.
NewYorkCity 10,536
You forget that 40 of those 50 leaders are from countries where press freedom is a fact.... Not that much of a fact when one of those allowed the censure of a magazine because it has the prince and the princess in a satirical way just like the one attacked on Paris... I find it funny that Rajoy is there defending liberty when he did that and just made a law to short the liberty of expresion on his own country. Don't belittle my intelligence. It still makes no sense to me that you with the knowledge that one country's stats are flawed would post about that list anyway, but whatever. Not sure why you're suggesting European arrogance (whatever that may be) comes into this. I'm criticising your logic in regard to posting this thread, not belittling your all-round intelligence. For the last time, I never said those stats are flawed, not those of any country. I explained why the Israeli score is low compared to Europeans for example. Un-der-sta-nd? I guess Ambiguous statements like "I admitted freedom of press in my country is flawed" threw me off understanding what you were trying to say. Sorry for taking this discussion on an absolutely irrelevant tangent because of my misunderstanding My initial point still stands in my opinion though
