Ugh, of course leave it to a black girl to start talkin smack about black issues and everything being a race issue. Like no b**ch if you would be much more classy and do sh*t right then maybe things would turn out great. Plus that dirty IDAF mouth is gonna get you no where hunny.

Azealia no doubt just released one of the best rap albums of the decade, but good lord, I cringed throughout the whole interview. She's VERY immature and ignorant; she comes across as someone who simply hasn't grown up. I completely agree with the interviewer: she should focus on her music and not her social media accounts. The interviewer even tried to tell her that the music should be her priority, but she's so blinded she wouldn't listen. She fancies herself some sort of black activist, but really, what has she done besides come across as rude clickbait?

I agree with this. Had she handled her argument in a more mature way without singlehandedly making fun of Iggy by calling her petty nicknames and tweeting things like throwing a jar of piss to her (let us not make any excuses by saying she isn't being taking her social media accounts seriously), she could be getting critical support on this issue.

Just listened to the whole interview and I get what she's saying, like I understand her feelings. Not that I know of them but I see her passion if that makes any sense.

What I feel is that she is somewhat paranoid like the whole world is turned against her personally. That must be such a mental struggle for her and I hope she finds her balance in what she wants to achieve and how to channel it.

In that way she's a bit like Gaga, they advocate stuff so much in your face like someone is holding their hand in your face and many people get annoyed by it not questioning why they do what they do and straight out dismiss it.

She's so young tho, I hope she find her middle way.

In this video she shows knowledge but not discipline. I ultimately support what she's saying, but think she's trying too hard to be a voice of reason using a voice that is not reasonable or willing to understand others.

The fact that she said she wouldn't want to talk to Iggy shows this. The fact that she told the interviewer she'll "always think this about [him]," shows this. She wants to spit her fire but not work with people to put out flames.

I think she needs to work on making her message more constructive. You can be mad as hell at legitimately ****ty things, but if you aren't working to make them better your words mean very little. She can't hold her own in these big conversations. She breaks down and when she's challenged her response is "Well whatever. I do what I want!"

She's got the talent and the heart, she needs the discipline to make her message really work. She needs people to challenge her and she needs to hold her own in those challenges, then come to a conclusion at the end.

That's my thoughts of AB in a nutshell.

"I don't understand why the person with so much negativity has fans"

Because more often than not she makes good points and surprise, her music is some of the best this decade

C'mon, gays here were loving her catty black woman persona way before her album dropped. Back when she was expected to be the next Nicki Minaj and generating twitter drama that was personal not racial. None of here fans where talking like hip-hop purists who looked down on pop rap back them. Strange, hardly anyone on this board is here for male rappers who put out critically respected stuff like Kanye or Kendrick.
