It was a flawless era except the issues related to the App, DWUW Video and Troy carter mess

By the time you reach the end of this sentence, it'll be too late to realize I just wasted your time with a pointless sig.

although in terms of albums sales its not a flop album compared to the standard of today, it lacked the same cultural impact and richness that all of her previous eras have had. to me looking back, it was disappointing. but i have hope that the next one will be excellent.

No, the definision of a "flop" is if you do lots of promo, try to create what the gp wants, have radio support, more than 2 singles, music videos and still don't have album sales or any impact..

 

That's not the case with ARTPOP.

It's TOTALLY weird to me how everyone commented about G.U.Y only charting at #76 but seriously nobody talked about X.O (Beyonce's FIRST single) not making it in top 40,Pretty hurts charting out of top 100...

it isn't a flop, it just is if you compare it to her other successes. It would be almost impossible to recreate that kind of success with every new release.
