That only proves my point. Gaga would be sold out if the Portuguese date only had 6.000 tickets on sale. And again, Portugal is much smaller and less populated than France. It makes no sense to judge the success of a show without looking at the country itself and compare its characteristics to the others from other countries.

 

Same thing happened with Portugal. There were 20.500 tickets on sale, and they only sold nearly 7500 tickets. It's still marked as sold out. Oh well.

 

The capacity of the arena for concerts is 18,000 or 18,500 max. And there were probably a lot less put on sale for the artRAVE.

The maximum capacity is nearly 20.000. There were 20.500 tickets on sale, I personally checked the official sellers diagram of the arena.

The biggest sold-out attendance I ever saw in that arena is Beyoncé with 18,025 people per night. So, I guess (and I'm sure) 20,000 is the end-stage configuration capacity  :) And I never saw 20,000 people there, it's probably the end stage capacity! Considering that 7k were sold, it's obvious that they didn't put all the tickets on sale, so there were less than 20.5k put on sale for sure.

oop i knew she wasnt selling well here in Lisbon, but i wasnt expecting it to be THAT bad

Portugal's economy is just like Greece now.

Not really, but it's not like that means anything. Beyoncé sold out 2 shows at the same arena months ago. Gaga used to be popular here, she sold out the same arena in 2010 but just like in Australia she lost her star power.

My only gripe is that darn Sweden date. I have this pet peeve when I go on Wikipedia to study the grosses and theres N/A on some dates. The curiosity will kill me.

Yeah, but that's not a full arena, it's not sold out. "Com uma capacidade de 20 000 espectadores, é o maior pavilhão de espetáculos de Portugal. Iron Maiden, Shakira, Britney Spears, Rihanna, Guns N Roses, Madonna e Scorpions detém até hoje o recorde de audiências do Pavilhão Atlântico com 20 000 espectadores num dos seus concertos ali realizados."
