The Guardian Says That Lady Gaga Needs RedOne Back For Upcoming Album

Because Cyndi outsold herself and tried to become a cheesy brand. (Remember when she became a host on WWE) Her music quality might have changed...and maybe some indie reporters found it good....but it didn't really impress people. I have a feeling Gaga wants to put an impression on her fans and others, and change the world. Its not in her DNA to just make music about randomness. She wants to bring ART into POP. Which means being able to create something that can be new and interesting and important, but viable for a large audience.

I didn't compare Gaga to Cindi. I just siad that sometimes the opinion of the critics alone or the opinion of the public is not that relevant. There are many things that play their role.

And for what seems like the hundreth time, you've missed my point. I'm not saying DJWS is better than RedOne, I'm saying that what's the point in regressing musically to something that she's done before, just because it satisfies a select group of people? Gaga is all about evolution of sound and musical innovation, so if she can produce some new sounds with RedOne, fantastic, I'm so happy for her, but if she basically comes out with some generic Bad Romance 3.0 or whatever JUST for the charts, it would be very disappointing.

And I made it very clear in many of my posts that she or RedOne won't be doing that. Gaga is a creative. RedOne is a mastermind. RedOne has consistently evolved with Gaga. His stuff with her on The Fame to the TFM to BTW to ARTPOP has completely evolved and sounded refreshing.

They both understand each other in a way musically that DJWS doesn't quite.

You brought up Metacritic, BB is included in that score.

I didn't say a word about "Metaritic". I said that the critical examination overall suggested the album was her weakest. Please quote where I brought up metacritic.

I feel very bad for DJWS... I don't know how to say it, he is a great producer, his songs are the most polished ones she's ever had, very clean sound

but to me, (most of) his songs are sooo not memorable, they lack freshness, the "omg I haven't heard anything like that", the distinctive idea...

so I don't want him on the next album, sorry :(

and I hope RedOne proves he's not the ridiculed ReDone, and he brings something fresh, sophisticated and kinda 'minimalistic' (not too much) a la TF or TFM and not messy like his BTW work or gods forbid like his work with JLo...

and I would also want some Fernando back  did they fall out ? :ohno:

you kinda did (unintentionally) compare her to cyndi....however........in Cyndi's case her music did not wane because it was bad. It was her persona in the public that destroyed her, and the fact that she didn't offer much for the mass taste that seemed fresh. Meanwhile Madonna was outpacing her in this category, and therefore Cyndi's creative music didn't live up to what the masses wanted. The difference between Cyndi and Gaga.....Gaga's cares. She'll never admit it....but she cares.

debatable. I like Applause...it worked. But DJWS has not delivered the goods the way RedOne has.

I pretty much agree with all your saying. Let the rest seethe. My musical tastes are not theirs and theirs are not mine. I'm sure I'll be able to sleep tonight knowing we have different views. Sad that others get so wound up.

Did you average the scores out yourself to figure out it was her worst reviewed? because if so, kudos to you.

People in a different thread were saying RedOne produced Judas and Scheisse... who do I believe? :madge:

I love DJWS btw. :legend:

because a song can be produced or cowritten by both: http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/DJ_White_Shadow

and even if he didn't produce Judas and Scheisse, I love all the other songs he did except Swine. I'm tired of people bashin him
