http://fortune.com/2014/10/27/oil-prices-tumble-again-after-goldman-slashes-outlook/

Goldman (well respected for their predictions) expects the current price of oil which has been around $80/barrel to fall further reaching $75/bareel by early next year before rebounding back to $80 by the end of next year

Opec, and many Countries that heavily rely on oil are under extreme pressure as they assumed oil prices would houver around $100/bareel over the next few years, instead oil has tumbled 20%

Russia and Venezuela in particular are under extreme pressure. Venezuela would run a deficit of 14% of GDP even with oil prices at $110/ barrel and Russia has began dipping into rainy day fund and says they may have to cancel plans to expand military

too bad millions of people who are innocent to their Governments faults have to suffer also

Even here in Canada we suffering. Our stockmarket has tumbled, revenue dropping (our surplus might be delayed cuz of it) and businesses have become more cautious

At least our consumer and manufacturing which are also big sectors will benefit from this so some of the negatives will be offset. Russia and Venezuela dont have those sectors to fall on

lol im sure. For me as well. Not just at the pumps but also the damage to Canadas economy isnt in my region anyway (We dont have oil in Ontario)

I was refering to the Russia and Venezuela thing. Wishing bad on their Government and Country also means wishing bad on the millions of people who live there who arent necessairily at fault for their Governments actions

thats a generalization tho

Lets say 90% of theiur population is in fact homophobic... Still... a good 15 million people arent

Also, its hard not to be when u grow up in a culture like that...

I mean 50 years ago almost everyone was homophobic, often even gays themselves. Were they bad people just because of that?

Im sure in 50 years there will be moral standards that from that generations perspective we failed to live up to. Are we bad people for it?

ummm i dont know... WW in general maybe not. Countries progress at different rates

I know in Portugal where i was from before moving to Canada the change in culture and values changed very quickly

The older generation (60 and above) is conservative and religious catholics... the new generation is very modern and accepting. This change happened very quickly

20 years ago theres no way anyone would of guessed Portugal would of been the 11th or 12th Country in the world to legalize same s-x marriage... But it did
