I just found that the biggest selling week for a female artist is 3m+ (Hikaru Utada) and 2.8m (Ayumi Hamasaki) during their album battle in 2001- both of them sold over 1m albums each on the first day of their album debut!

Was that worldwide? This over 1.3 million number is America only, Billboard's Top 200 list for her debut.

Just listened to some of the album, watched some performances and music vids... straight up sh*t, does not deserve this success, even Katy Perry is more worthy.

 

I truly feel sorry for her stans, it's just that awful.

That's not how I meant it to come across, sorry.

I'll just say that sales in general don't always reflect quality and this is a case if that for me. But not everyone.
