witchcocktor 1,438 Posted September 23, 2014 Share Posted September 23, 2014 Really, most of these reviews that will give her a mixed/negative review will ONLY tackle on three subjects: Gaga's '' fall '' with ARTPOP, Gaga's '' publicity-seeking stunts '' and the only '' real critic '' that this album will be given, is Gaga's powerhouse vocals, that don't '' fit '' the jazz genre. But I think it's pretty ridiculous to assume that jazz can only have certain type of vocals, and isn't it only great that Gaga doesn't try to make herself follow the rules? It's not like music genres should stay static and never evolve. And it's not like Gaga doesn't show off her smooth jazz singer talents on the album! There have been so many critics praising it but most of them don't count for Metacritic while that slant magazine BS written by someone who obviously hates Gaga does. What is it? Is it like an aggregate reviews website? If so, why does it count only specific reviews, not all of them? What is their choice based on? 2.
