i want music that represents gaga's best music. So like the beginning of her career.

 

 

i don't know if anyone else has realized it but ARTPOP wasn't like the best album ever.

 

And all fans since 08' probably understand why i need songs like Just Dance and Poker Face, Starstruck, and LoveGame back in my life. Or an Gaga fan i'd think, it was her best music IMO, and a lot of others.

I feel like Gaga should release at a time different then Katy.

 

 

I feel like though the ARTPOP music wasn't as good as Gaga's past stuff, the timing didn't work, with Roar, and then PRISM, i feel like First Half of 2016 would work with a performance at the grammy's, an album in spring (kinda like Born This Way)..and then good aftermath on the Year End charts.

 

 

She needs a comeback guys, i feel like waiting till after 2015 is best, and kind of choosing the time that she can lock in, with ARTPOP it jumped from February/Quarter 1 to November. which is why Gaga didn't sell as well i believe, and between Katy and Gaga, it kind of put focus on them, which i why Britney did bad, and partly Avril lavigne (not as much Avril). 

 

I'm just saying that there was so many female artists and stuff, like Gaga needs to lock her timeframe and stuff, beginning of the new year of 2016 is perfect.

Id prefer not another electronic pop album. Pop rock would great, piano based, very organic. Then maybe come back with a hard hitting electronic album after. I'm liking the Gaga variety show at the moment.

Begining of 2016 i think it is not agood idea, albums don't sell well there and there isn't promo to do, just the grammys. I think releasing an album in september-novemner would be the best

Why not have a summer smash & summer smash album?

Here's how I see it:

January: ARTPOP demos leak. The most underrated form of promo is a leak. More people want it if they're not allowed it.

April: upload studio photos of collaborators (in my dreams) Adele, Eminem & Rihanna aka "coming for the charts".

Then drop the single, duet, in June as the c2c tour wraps. Video 1 day later & promote it that week on radio.

Then after they work hard to smash, release the album without notice in July!

Or what's been proven to work by people such as Calvin Harris - singles first, album later. I mean, if you look after the singles, the album will smash because of it, so no rush to put out the album.

Not sure if I mentioned earlier but ARTPOP could have been saved from disaster if they'd delayed release until a later date.

Rest of the year: management breakdown & repair

January/February: Dwuw feat xtina

May: Gypsy & ARTPOP

After that all singles are fair game. Owners of AP already have them, why would they buy again? And people that liked any of the well promoted singles they'd heard for months before all over tv and radio would've bought the album AFTER the singles smashed.

Its a reverse Beyoncé experience. Smash singles make a smash album. Leading with the album is stupid.

I voted in the poll for a second half of 2015 release... that might be a bit hopeful though 

 

If she went in a rock direction, it would be cool if she managed to revitalise the genre for radio, like she did for synthpop when The Fame was released

well, more like Born This Way, a big single in the beginning, a second single with an album release in april/may. Plus, it's gaga, she can reveal her documentary and boost sales lol.

i personally think the more she waits the more its hurting her tbh.

blackouts aren't good for her career imo!

i know she needs to take time for the album, but didnt she wrote TFM and BTW in lesser time than ARTPOP? and they're both beter albums so maybe too much time isnt a good thing!

Sadly I have to agree. The longer she is out of the picture the more people will forget about her. TBH though all I care about is her music and well being but if she wants to continue to stay one of the biggest pop stars she needs to come back soon.
