elijahfan 26,052
Like others have said, MDNA sold almost as much as ARTPOP with almost no promotion. 2 times less than Hard Candy. 6 times less than Confessions. Yeah, she's on the right track :p *pun intended*
FameHookah 4,595
As always the madonna stans came here running I think gaga is just pissed at Madonna and her psycho stans, but pretends not to be.. WTF is MDNA
ClapDown 0
2 times less than Hard Candy. 6 times less than Confessions. Yeah, she's on the right track :P *pun intended* Album sales have declined hugely across the industry over the past 9 years because of illegal downloading and streaming. Like for example: The Fame - 15 million Born This Way - 6 million ARTPOP - 2.5 million And yeesh, you call yourself a fan? What's the point of being so negative and critical? Being a fan doesn't mean you have to blindly agree with everything your fave does or say! I certainly have some things to say about some of Gaga's actions as well. Nobody's perfect, and I'm not gonna pretend I like the direction Madge's career has taken when I don't. It's actually easy to tell someone you love that you love him or her - but confronting this person to what you dislike takes some courage. If you really love someone, you gotta be honest. I'm not gonna be all delusional just for the sake of some stan war, I don't ****ing care about it. I'm talking about Madge and everyone brings up Gaga - WHAT. THE. ****. We're intelligent and grown human beings, we're beyond this bull****.
FCK Amy 8
yes it did hurt gaga when she found out her idol hates her :( who cares tho Gaga still ****onem :koons:
Jjang 2,262
I'm not talking about the lyrics, but the production. Elton John specifically went after her about it, saying that instead of doing her own thing, she deliberately went after Gaga's style. We could argue about this for days, and it's obviously a sensitive subject over here. I'm just trying to be a realistic fan. The times when Madonna used to set the trends are behind - now she keeps bandwagoning on every trend, seemingly in an attemps to stay "in". I wish she flipped up the game the way she used to. Now, the one who flips up the game is Gaga. And Madge knows it. *What does Madonna following or setting trends have to do with anything? what she did in her past career will be remembered forever in pop culture, the mark she left will never leave us. and i don't see how MDNA is Gaga influenced
MaybeKermit 4,888
what ? ^^ those song titles in your profile (tea, brooklyn nights, tinnitus,...) those are all the confirmed unreleased songs (except for BN), but you forgot IN LIKE WITH YOU, Gaga confirmed that title whit Tinnitus and Onion Girl :-)
Hewkah 48
Although I'm a huge fan of Madonna, I think she was very childish with the situation. Gaga reacted perfectly.

Ladle Ghoulash 23,623
I distinctly remember there being a video of Gaga talking about it at the Born This Way Ball in a kind of vague sense while crying. She said something along the lines of "we don't need to slice each other". We have forgotten our public MANNERS
vomits her mind 0
I think it did hurt her personally. She was very hurt about Born This Way (single). Remember the interview where she said she needed a cigarette? It was supposed to be a fun time and everyone immediately criticized it including M. What interview is that?
