I was simply bringing attention to something that I found very interesting and shocking, so please leave me alone now :) Good. Bye. Honey. You know me, I ain't got no beef. Just like a little debate

Economy 52,863
Why would proportions be thrown off if it is per capita? And median income is a representation of income gap. Sorry for overreacting though! i didnt throw off proportions? im confused now i dont get what ur saying And its not necessairily a proper representation. u can have a very strong economy and have a huge gap and the middle class still earn well, its just that the rich earn a tone, or you ca have a crappy economy with a low income gap like Cuba but the middle class (if there even are classes there) are not well off. Ok they are communist but my point is that bigger gap doesnt always mean worse middle class My point is i dont know every stat just cause im into the economy so i wasnt sure, and thats what i said "im not sure". I dont know why you took it offensively like i was attacking the US or something cause i wasnt And are you sure its 4th best "median"? cause i dont really remember the stats anymore but i dont think it was anywhere near that high. Are you sure its not the mean (average)?

Discussed your article and the overarching theme around it, for that, you are very welcome. There were no overarching themes, it was just a cool and interesting way to play with number. Sit down. VISION 52
USA is so strange. It is always extremely high in those rankings along with such stellar countries as Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, yet there is so much poverty, big amounts of people struggling with finances, SH*T healthcare system (it is beyond atrocious!!), horrible and run-down neighborhoods, etc. But at the same time so many rich people and impressive technology. I wonder why?

Economy 52,863
That would be true of mean, not median though. And a quick Google search revealed so.. Thats not what i meant. I meant u can have a high median and STILL have a big income gap and u can have a poor median and a low income gap And so that alone didt mean anything without the stats and for that reason i did not know

I wonder why?well America has more immigrants than Norway or Sweden for instance and they tend to be more disadvantaged to born citizens od the Country Also the US spends way less on social programs to help the poor than Norway or Sweden. But Norway and Sweden have insanely high taxes to pay for that stuff As for Switzerland, their economy is just world class period. They may be small but Switzerland has one of the most stable currencies, finances, balance of trade, political stability and persistant low unemployment! Arturo 40,746
That's an interesting read. And not this turning into a U.S v. the rest of the world debate (initiated by the rest of the world ) Why are guns even being talked about in this thread? nnnn do non-Americans still believe it's a common sight to see people walking around with guns? It's not
