No. She had enough promo from August till December 2013. She had the VMAs, the YouTube music award, which dope's performance was emailed to all YouTube users, SNL, the voice final, AMAs and ways more. With that amount of promo she should have spayed, people just didn't like ARTPOP enough

I think its sad but that goes to show what an abuse of promo, lack of tv appearances, lack of live performances, lack of videos for singles and not attending many award shows (eg grammys) does to the general publics view of you. Most of all she hasnt done much outside the US let alone within it. She has not once (besides while on tour) yet visited Australia to promote her music, she hasnt been on any morning shows, done any live performances here since the born this way era and what did those performances do? They ended up being the best promo for her tour. 

 

For example, gaga during the born this era had sooo many live performances, she travelled to countries to promote her music and ended up also promoting her tour. I dont think that this is gagas fall (in other words she can recover from it) but primarily I believe this "fall" was from pure laziness of her, her management and her team. I know most of you hate this example but take katy perry. She is higher than ever now and she has been to so many countries to promote her music. What has it done? its improved sales for her music and her tour. 

 

If gaga seeks to be successful she has to do this again next era she cant just stay around and hope it happens for her.

What COULD happen is Gaga could have a few award show performances this year for Cheek To Cheek and impress old people and other people who enjoy classic music. Then the GP will be like "why isn't she making pop music" then if she does release a pop album within the next year she could make a huge comeback performance and maybe wear more weird outfits and then people will be like "SHE'S BACK"

Things like this really bother me. Who cares if "no one knows who she is"? You don't have to constantly have number on records or be on every magazine cover, you don't have to be a household name constantly in order to be a great musician.  You need to make good music, care about your fans, care for yourself and that's it.  She is successful because she's doing what she wants and making music she wants for US. That's it. She doesn't need to be all over the VMAs or TMZ-that has nothing to do with ART. That has only to do with the clique that is popular culture.  It literally has no context in being a musician. She's doing just fine for herself!
