Arturo 40,746
Yes, but it will most likely reach that. $85 to $100 million.is a lot of money. so nope It's not very good for a pop star's tour gross. Under $100M that is. can someone outline all the reasons why this would be disappointing please thanks As usual, it's all about how it performs compared to her peers. (That's stan culture for ya) Even if artRAVE grosses $100M (which would be fine with me), it couldn't compete with JT, Katy, Beyonce, and even Rihanna's last solo tours. Pluto 776
No?? Anybody who says yes is stupid. It's not like it's your money. anybody knows you can conjure anything by the dark of the moon
Noel Kahn 2
I don't care, it's not like I'm getting a percentage of her gross.
Houdini 103
That would be upsetting. That's less than half of Monster Ball made. They're not gonna give her more money and promo if she's not pulling in the money. Born this Way had so much promo because Fame Monster pulled in the dough. Things aren't gonna get bigger and better with numbers like that and people are delusional who say it doesn't matter. You like epic global tours? Crazy TV perfomances? Expensive music videos? Well if numbers keep going down you're gonna end up with cheap videos and promo like Closer to the Truth or MDNA. but at least the MDNA Tour ($305 million) covers MDNA's sales (which are not that bad tho, 2 million is still impressive) Closer to the Truth Tour is expecting to gross less than $80 million and the album didn't even reach the 1 million copies. I think if the tour covers the lack of albums sales, it's good

Mills 446
No. $85M-$100M is still pretty much respectable, especially with the commercial reception of the album, which is her poorest to date. A tour w/ 79 dates grossing less than $70 million would be disappointing. But of course, 3 consecutive world tours grossing above $100 million before the age of 30 > just having two. A third hundred-million grossing tour would further cement her status as a legit touring force at a very young age. Which means, her brand will only become stronger. And who doesn't want that? Ethan 2,051
I really feel like this tour deserved to be much longer since it really is an epic scale of production

jthorn 37
How much money it makes is really none of my business! I CARE MORE ABOUT THE QUALITY OF THE SHOW, NOT THE PROFIT. Some of you really scare me.

Miky 9,476
Why would anyone be disappointed? Don't those who care about this stuff have anything better to do with their lives? I will never understand this. Too many people here with moral superiority complex.
Slojo 51
Whether it makes $50 or $100m makes no difference to me and a lot of people will have had the pleasure of seeing the artist they love playing live so why should I be disappointed
