Dodo 313
So what we know so far is that she plans on doing a "Classic Rock & Power Ballads" album. Now.. We all know gaga will never drop her pop sound, she's a pop artist & she's been doing it for years. & Gaga is an ABBA fan according to Gagavision 41 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wrOYFZwmMUM You can hear her listening to SOS at 4:46 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cvChjHcABPA & ABBA's music falls into, "power ballads, (classic) rock, & POP" Thoughts? Bowie 4
I don't think anyone can sound like ABBA without working with Benny and Björn tbh. :TROOTEA: I need a whole ABBA-inspired album to be honest, she needs to collab with B&B. I need the Gaga equivalent of 'Slipping Through My Fingers'. And if the rock album happens, I need her to work with David Gilmour/Roger Waters. exoskeleton123 6
I actually hear a lot of ABBA influence in her work. I mean listen to Alejandro and Venus. The harmonies in Venus in the chorus and in the verses are very reminiscent of Agnetha and Frida's harmonies. And as far as her working with Bjorn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson, Bjorn even said in an interview last year that Poker Face was a great pop song, so I think he likes her!
