Born To Slay 10,996
MTE. The VMAs have always been questionable. Britney winning her first VMA for Piece of Me tells you all you need to know. I used to really be into award shows until I got older and noticed that they're mostly political. Plus the self-congratulatory and high school nature of them is incredibly obnoxious most of the time. Also before the typical idiots crying "OMG HYPOCRITE!!1!": I've never cared for the VMAs much even during 2009 & 2010. I didn't even watch the Paparazzi performance live. My annoyance at her snub is more geared toward how much work went into Applause & G.U.Y., and the fact that MTV seemed to go out of their way to snub her. Like, Turn Down for What being nominated for Best Art Direction. Wake Me Up and Talk Dirty nominated for Best Pop Video...just lol. Also I like Lorde, but Royals is such a blah video. You can't tell me that it deserved a nod over Applause or G.U.Y. It's just another example of how the media seems to have turned their back on her and refuses to throw her a bone even when the work is actually good. It's typical, but disappointing nonetheless. I agree with of this

aquaprincess 23
I doubt it'll be as good as last year. Not saying this because of gaga. But it just doesn't seem like they'll be many "omg" moments judging from the line up. But it should still be good performance wise. I'm still watch. disneyhigh 43
run Wait hold the **** up Turn Down For What got a nomination and Applause didn't??? The world is in serious trouble girls  Okay, yes the song is a trashy mess but the video is actually very weird and interesting. Probably the only video that I watched from start to finish this year besides Gaga's.

Alien Tulip 12,428
Applause should have at least gotten one nomination. G.U.Y. is a mediocre music video in my opinion so i'm not surprised it didn't get nominated but even if she did get nominated she wouldn't win because she's not attending the vmas this year and they only give awards to people that are attendant and its been this way the past few years. Luv u Sum 2,311
another video that didn't deserve a nomination tbh MTN is one of the best music videos any artist has put out. Thank you very much.

Kayla 7,595
Sia's video was amazing, Childish Gambino is incredible and deserves to be up there, Beyonce's videos are worthy of nominations, that "Fever" song has a great video, I can understand Iggy and Miley being up there, and the OKGO song deserves the WIN because of how freaking awesome it is- and all done in one take?! Incredible. But honestly, "Problem" and "Happy" just don't deserve VMA nominations. They're not bad videos, they just don't hold up well enough to be considered Best of the year in any category. (And let's be honest- if Linkin Park's video was nominated, they might as well of just put the True Detective opening on the list too....) Gaga got shafted and lesser videos took places that should have been hers.

Asia 269
The VMA's are for manufactured artists. The only artist I want to win at this years ceremony is Sia. all of this
