miley wrecking ball was written by others not miley u can check the booklet

maybe but katy, madonna, rihanna, etc. are all quoted co-writer as gaga is, so they all write their songs and show them to the producer and they adjust it if i fallow your logic

are u suggesting they dont write their songs? not even 1 word in it?  :later:

co-writers get credit for even 1 word. co-producers get credit for 1 note or a synth AND for arranging the song, such as Nick M.

i'm just saying that gaga is not the super incredible writer like everybody here pretend she is.

for sure she writes a lot of things, but the final works is very dilute among others writers like every artist.

she has wrote only 2 songs only by herself..

That is extremely false. Extremely.

Gaga writes most her songs, even her producers say that.

Rob Fusari, who produced most songs on TF, said that she credited him in Writing because he added 2 words, "we're plastic" [but we still have fun!] in Paparazzi. :)

I love Rihanna, but I didn't know she wrote anything.

Everyone knows that Bonnie Mckee writes most of Katy's songs.

And Rihanna? iOv9eDwVqPn7S.gif

ok but maybe other artists too wrote their songs. i just don't get the ''gaga is the only who writes all her songs''.

she's credited as co-writer in 99% of her songs, so madonna, rihanna, britney, etc. are too so if i fallow your logic, maybe those artist all write their songs and producers add 2 words too. Gaga is for sure a writer but don't put her as a special place, many many other popstar write their songs too

in this case, every artist are co-writers. it's easy to look at the booklet and say ''ah she wrote all her songs and show to the producer and they adjust it and it's called co-writing'' because all artist are quoted as co-writers.

Gaga's producers from each album have all stated that she writes the lyrics, She also helps with the melodies, harmonies amd arrangements on the majority of her songs.

You can see that some artists need other professional songwriters (ones well known in the music industry) to help them write their lyrics. Then there are others, like Gaga and Adele, who don't use these types of professional lyricists on their albums. I'm sure than are many other artists like this...simply named two I knew to be in this category.   :)

:awkney: it is known that katy does what her team tells her to do she is really not organic gaga is more organic dont compare those 2 please  (didnt want to sound shady but you asked for it)

But factually ARTPOP and PRISM have pretty much have the same amount of co-writers and producers. I just find it interesting that people have this attitude. Katy could very well be contributing just as much or even more as gaga. Just because her music is more accessible dosent make her some puppet. Maybe it is her choice...

No one in the thread said "gaga is the only who writes all her songs." Literally NO ONE said that.

And I am sorry but even Rihanna's producers and writers said that she comes in the studio, they play her a demo and if she likes it she covers it. Rihanna doesn't write lyrics, and Katy barely does. Go ask Bonnie Mckee.

Katy has several professional songwriters listed on most of her songs. Rihanna has a team that writes all her songs. She may put in a line, to get listed as a co-writer, but she mostly just goes in the studio and records what they give her. Not sure about Madonna, but I thought she wrote her lyrics...or at least most of them. Gaga writes the large majority of her lyrics.
