Just read The Walking Comics and honestly, the storyline in the TV show is dramatically different from the comics.

Here are the elements from the comics that are changed in the TV show:

1. Shane already died in their first camp, before they went to Herschel's farm.

2. It was Carl who killed Shane, not Rick, because he saw him pointing out a gun to his father.

3. Jacqui, the black woman who stayed at Dr. Gener's laboratory never existed.

4. There is no Dr. Gener.

5. Sophia isn't killed on Herschel's farm. In fact, she is still alive even after they left the prison, flirting the hell with Carl, her boyfriend.

6. Dale and Andrea are a couple, they even have s-x.

7. Dale didn't die in Herschel's farm. He died after they left the prison, on their way to Washington D.C.

8. There is no Randall in the comics, as Shane is already dead just before they reached Herchel's farm.

9. Herschel has a lot of sons and daughters, namely Arnold, Alyson, Maggie, Rachel, Susie and Billy. Beth never existed, nor his boyfriend Jimmy.

10. Since Shane is already dead just before they reach Herschel's farm, Otis was actually killed when the men from Woodbury attacked the prison.

11. Patricia, Otis' girlfriend also made it on the prison, but was also killed on the attack of the Woodbury people.

12. One of the four prisoners killed Herschel's daughters, namely Susie and Rachel but was later killed by Maggie.

13. The other prisoner escaped.

14. Maggie cut her hair and Glenn shaved his head while in the prison.

15. Carol wanted to become a partner of Rick and Lori, to be their spouse.

16. Tyrese have met Rick and the rest of the group just before they discover the prison.

17. Sarah, the woman with Tyrese, never existed.

18. Carol had an affair with Tyrese.

19. Andrea isn't separated in the group after leaving Herschel's farm.

20. Michone actually talks a lot, she even had s-x with Tyrese.

21. Lori didn't die while giving birth to her daughter. She was actually shot together with the baby when men of Woodbury attacked the prison.

22. Carol committed suicide on the prison by letting herself be bitten by a walker they tied.

23. Andrea and the governor never become acquainted with each other. Hence, these s-x scenes we see in the TV series never existed.

24. It was Michone who is stripped and raped by the governor, not Maggie who is stripped topless in the TV series.

25. T-Doug never existed.

and also one of the biggest changes:

26. Daryl and Merle both never existed.

The list could go on and on.

Well yeah, the TV series is only loosely based on the comics.

Loving S3.

Rick really needs a blowjob. As soon as possible. He's gone crazy!

I need Michonne to start talking. I love her zombie-slaying scenes.

YES HONEY! Where's Lori when you need h- oh wait.

So here's pretty much me on TWD right now:

I'm so glad Darryl came back, he's a right lad, he's probably my favourite out of them all

:legend:

OSCAR THO

Missing T-Dog tbh :nails:

The Gov. needs to die asap pls

I love Michonne but she needs some dialogue

Carroll is sweet too, and it's cool to see her getting stronger everyday

CARL IS SO GROWN UP OMFG

Glenn is going kinda ratchet

Rick needs to calm his white ass down before he kills a b---h

Do you guys think we'll ever see the black guy and his kid from S1 again?

If the series will follow the storyline with Morgan and Duane (the black father and son) on the comics, yes, because it will be revealed that...

Morgan and Duane stayed within Rick's village and that Duane became a walker, where Morgan kills people passing by to feed his walker son.

After reading the comics, I discovered that the way this show is written is messed up.

On the comics, Herschel's farm has been present for like 2 issues only while in the TV series, they tried to stretch the Herschel's farm setting into whole Season 2. Then suddenly when Season 3 enters, the happenings on the prison suddenly speed up and the governor and Woodbury have been given more attention unlike the comics where Woodbury and the governor are like focused in a few number of issues only.

The comics are really different from the TV Series - I'm cool with it though as I started watching the show with no expectations/no knowledge about the comics. It's epic television regardless.

I just need Michonne to start talking. It's really annoying me because I love the character. But I need to know more about her.

Daryl/Carol needs to happen as well. I ship them tbh. Daryl is such a beast.

I actually finished all the released comic issues in just one week, and thanks to torrent for that. :teehee:

I am actually not against the TV show changing the storyline. It's just that, after reading the comics, I just came to the point that I find the TV series dull, especially on the Governor/Woodbury storyline. But overall, should I not read the comics, the series is of high caliber to me, as I'm no fan of watching TV series and TWD is the first TV series that I honesty gave a **ck to watch. :)

If you haven't read the comics, believe it or not, Michonne in the comics moderately talks, smiles and is less grumpy. She is also a flirt in the comics because she did a b***job to Tyrese in the prison and had s-x with him and with Morgan too. Talking about a huge character change. :smh:

naughty naughty :teehee:

I loooooove the series, like you said it's actually the only one I bother to sit down and watch, but so far the comics seem pretty good too. But.... there's no Darryll?! :omg:

There's also a scene in the comics where Michonne grabbed the crotch of the black guy on his patrol. How could that mysterious woman in the series be so slutty in the comics. : :smh:

and yeah, there's no Daryl and Merle in the comics. I guess he's one of the great decisions made on the TV series.

If you want more brutal scenes where amputations have been performed four times, mental insanity of one of the characters (that woman became so serious in the TV series unlike the comics ,not gonna spoil), cannibalism (cooking someones leg for food), slutty side of Michonne and the recurrent Glenn-Maggie hooking up, etc. the comics series will bare all such glory. :teehee:

LOL, I sound like the comics is highly s-xualized haha. But on a serious note, I recommend that you finish the comics too because it's really great, a lot of unexpected events. :)
