  2. It being feminist or anti-feminist is a non-issue. The beauty of a song like the original Jolene is just how vulnerable and raw it is. It's not meant to be social commentary, it's meant to be earnest.

  5. So far there have been several rumors on the release of LG7, let's discuss! 1) Blade: February 2024, Q1 , 2024 2) RideOrDie: "Soon" 3) @BabylonHooker: Lead May/June, album Oct 4) @crabbymc***gy: album May 5) @NarlesLM June 7 (The truth is in her typewriter ) 6) @VANTABLACK's thread was mysteriously deleted tonight, just like #4 (all within 24hrs mind you ) "TCBF + LG7 May 17 - June 19, with attention to June 7..." With the Joker trailer dropping this week, do we think they will use the momentum to drop or announce the lead?

  7. She’s always acting like she invented Gaga, I’m not saying she didn’t help but what happened after she left Gaga? Who else had the same level of success as Gaga because of her? … the narcissism always comes out..

  8. Of Cowboy Carter’s first-week unit sum of 407,000, SEA units comprise 232,000 (equaling 300.41 million on-demand official streams of the set’s songs), traditional album sales comprise 168,000 and TEA units comprise 7,000. With 300.41 million on-demand official streams, Cowboy Carter earns Beyoncé her biggest streaming week ever and the 4th-largest for a country album. Cowboy Carter marks Beyoncé’s 8th No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart. She previously led the list with Renaissance (in 2022), Lemonade (2016), her self-titled album (2013), 4 (2011), I Am… Sasha Fierce (2008), B’Day (2006) and Dangerously In Love (2003). Cowboy Carter’s sales were supported by the album’s availability across a number of configuration. It was issued as standard 19-track edition on vinyl (across 4 variants, each pressed on different color vinyl [black, red, white and blue] with alternate back cover artwork), a CD with an additional song (“Flamenco”) and a digital download and streaming edition (both in clean and explicit versions). The CD edition was issued in 4 variants (each with different back cover art). Two of the variants were sold as stand-alone items, while two of the CDs were only available inside two deluxe boxed sets (each with a different branded T-shirt contained inside a branded box). All physical configurations of the album were sold exclusively through Beyoncé’s official webstore, while the digital download and streaming editions were widely available. The vinyl edition of Cowboy Carter sold 62,000 copies (across its four variants combined), marking Beyoncé’s biggest week on vinyl.

  9. It seems like shes taking a lot of credit for Gaga’s success, going as far as calling her “her artist”. The Haus of Gaga wasn’t just Laurianne Gibson sculpting out a vision, there were other creatives involved, including Gaga. The ultimate vision is Gagas- the star, and it seemed like she couldn’t handle not being able to call all of the shots. There are so many facets to Gaga being a successful artist- of course Boomkack was one of them. But she gives “you’d be nothing without me”, and that’s been untrue for 13 years now.

  11. Angie Pontani and Brian Newman talk about their work and life for Yahoo In the Know. Angie name drops Gaga: „(…) I think right now, the highest point in my career was performing with Lady Gaga at the Dolby Theater in Las Vegas. To be able to represent this art form that I care very deeply about on that stage surrounded by such amazing musicians with the most epic production, that was-- and we did "Mambo Italiano." So, it was like, brain explosion. It was really amazing.” full interview and video here: https://www.yahoo.com/lifestyle/meet-angie-pontani-nyc-based-201507721.html I adore them so much, they seem so down to earth. And as a baby burlesque performer I am jealous of every single person that witnessed Gaga x Angie in person

  17. I am extremely tired from all this woke talking why can’t a classic song be a classic and people will leave it alone with their stupid opinions. We are talking about an old song, obviously it’s gonna have different morals in it, in this case no one’s getting hurt.

  25. He is recently been quoted a lit of times for all kinda tweet he posted as somekind of facts. At least in this forum alone, there are at least a couple that becomes pooukar topics already. One is about Gaga and the othwe about Katy Perry. Which is very questionable. Y'all need to STOP quoting this Mister D and get him the clout that he seeks. Whoever this is got harmful agenda against Gaga, the more popular he gets, the more powerful he becomes to use it against her. Stop falling for this the second time. One Angela Cheng is enough.

  28. Oh, she's from The View so we don't have to take it seriously. Literally did not recognize Joy Behar until I searched her up.

  29. Joy Behar has labeled music legend Dolly Parton's hit "Jolene" as anti-feminist following the release of Beyoncé's 2024 reinterpretation of the 1973 classic. "I like the subject of Beyoncé taking over the lyrics," the 81-year-old told her View producer Brian Teta on Wednesday's episode of the Behind the Table podcast. "Because the original thing with Dolly Parton is so, like, anti-feminist, worrying about some good-looking woman taking your man. If it's so easy to take your man, then take him." She went on the praise Beyoncé's Cowboy Carter iteration of "Jolene," which shifts the narrative of Parton's version. Instead of pleading with a potential mistress not to take her man, Beyoncé's take on the tune lands more as a warning than an emotional plea. "You don't want this smoke, so shoot your shot with someone else. You heard me," Beyoncé sings on the track. "Beyoncé says, if you take my man, you're going to be in a lot of trouble. I say, go ahead, take my man. Take him," Behar observed. source

  33. Watching her react to this album was such a fun ride. I'm shocked that she didn't like YaYa or Riverdance, but I really appreciate that she gave some love to Flamenco and Alligator Tears, which I think are very underrated sings. When she cried for American Requiem I teared up too - it is such an incredible moment.
