  4. Gaga's iconic Super Bowl halftime show has just reached 100 million views on her YouTube channel, also being her 30th video to do so and her second for a live performance (after the Shallow at the Oscars). It's her 32nd overall is you include Video Phone and 3-Way. The halftime show has an additional 79 million views on the NFL's channel. Her next closest video to the 100M is Marry the Night at 97.8 million, followed by Look What I Found at 88 million.

  5. No hate but what growth? If you told me All About That Bass, Me Too, Mother, and Made You Look were from the same album I'd believe you. The songwriting hasn't improved. The music sounds the same. The themes are the same. The only outlier is No which is her best song

  8. Not sure anyone cares if she's on it or not, just that her cover isn't giving minimalist and trendy, it's just...ugly, boring, plain, and lazy Bright green with arial font (usually the first font on anyone's list of free fonts) and not even capitalized Who told her that was ok

  9. PLEASE donā€™t get too hyped. grace is wrong 70% of the time. sheā€™s like a normal person with a few friends with middle level entertainment industry jobs. she tries to act like sheā€™s besties with james cameron himself though sheā€™s entertaining and meme-able as hell, but sheā€™s not a good news source. that being said, this timeline does make sense. grace loves to state fairly obvious things as if she has a big scoop

Falling Forever 9. Anything for Love 10. Maria 11. Happy for You Inspired by Duaā€™s own self-discovery, Radical Optimism is an album that taps into the pure joy and happiness of having clarity in situations that once seemed impossible to face. The hard goodbyes and vulnerable beginnings that previously threatened to crush your soul, become milestones as you choose optimism and start to move with grace through the chaos. Infused with the energy of Duaā€™s hometown, London, the attitude of the album embodies the rawness, honesty, confidence and freedom of ā€˜90s Britpop. Radical Optimism transports its listener to a dreamy pop world rich in musicality, lyrically unapologetic and sonically liberating.

  13. I personally love what she went for with this cover, but I guess the criticism isn't just coming from the fact she's not featured on it. But it is something refreshing to see from a pop girl, and I often wondered when Gaga would get the courage not to feature herself on one of her album covers.

  15. Jesus this thread is so negative lmao. I love the album cover/other pics and I'm genuinely excited for what she's putting out. I'm not a fan of Training Season but I really loved Houdini. I don't care if the aesthetics aren't matching up I'm here for the music.

  17. Lady Gaga did her set list of songs at SXSW ten years ago today. The highlight of the set list was the performance of Swine, which divided everyone from the GP to critics to fans. Despite having been vomited on in a Monsterball interlude from 2009 - 2011 with little backlash, this was different. It would not be until a Howard Stern interview later that year that Lady Gaga revealed the performance was a statement about her SA experience. She stated that the goal was to show the person who hurt her that they could never degrade her as much as she could degrade herself.

  18. Arriving just in time for the 10-year anniversary of her diamond-certified hit ā€œAll About That Bass,ā€ Timeless is a celebration of Meghan Trainorā€™s growth as an artist over the last decade. On it, she approaches themes of self-love and empowerment with more confidence than ever before, brought to life through her smart lyricism and signature production. Meghan explains, ā€œI cannot believe it has been 10 years since this all began, I have never been more grateful for this life that my incredible Megatronz have gifted me with. This new album and tour are all for them and my beautiful family.ā€ Out June 14, 2024 16 tracks https://meghantrainor.lnk.to/Timeless https://music.apple.com/us/album/timeless/1735386056 The Timeless Tour https://www.ticketmaster.com/meghan-trainor-tickets/artist/2025699

  20. I feel like if the movie as a whole were good she probably would be nominated, she was the most talked and praised out of all the cast.

  21. The media (and the public) are really loving to highlight these unfortunate situations for JLo. It really cements the idea for me that people like to watch flops. Like, flopping is part of the DNA of pop fandom/entertainment. Pop culture is so trashy lol. No wonder Gaga has distanced herself significantly from this whole circus.

  23. Well, there is a very broad field between a cover with a female artists body or face on it and the cover she created like, just paint something abstract on canva, do some nature photography in a forest or open landscape or create something out of everyday things, photograph a street scene or idk... This is just very lazy and uncreative.

  24. this was such a f*cking legendary set. no other artist could pull this off at all. arguably I kind of also feel this was truly the last time we saw the avant-garde performance artist side of Gaga. those were the days! obviously i'm glad she's in a much better place now mentally but my goodness, the sheer chaos and rage of this performance is palpable to this day. she truly gave no f*cks.

  27. The new season is upon us and Variety just released a ā€œblind predictionā€ for next yearā€™s Oscarā€™s. For Best Actress they predict: Lady Gaga - ā€œJoker: Folie Ć  Deauxā€ (Warner Bros.) Marianne Jean-Baptiste - ā€œHard Truthsā€ (Bleeker Street) Florence Pugh - ā€œWe Live in Timeā€ (A24) Saoirse Ronan - ā€œThe Outrunā€ (*TBA*) Zendaya - ā€œChallengersā€ (Amazon MGM Studios) Alternatives: Purely off names and studios, I think Florence Pugh and Emma Stone have the potential of being tough competitors. Saoirse also strikes me as someone the Academy could get behind because of her proven track record of quality. Will solidify my opinion on her once I see what studio picks up her film. So excited for this season!

  30. Ladies, is the March Madness of Cholesterol a threat to Kate Middleton? Should she watch out for tunnels in Paris? Streets saying Kensington Palace is pissed Stephen Colbert didnā€™t give them a heads up about his monologue. Maā€™am, why tf would anyone outside the UK give a sh*t about warning the palace about anything they do.
