  4. A lot of artists like to say "I don't copy anyone, I do my own thing", but the truth is, the inspiration from your idols is already deeply embedded in your subconscious, and it will come through in your work. There is simply no avoiding it. Even Gaga was guilty of this when she tried to distance herself from Madonna, even though it was clearly evident that she idolized her.

  8. Sampling/Influencing Vogue is kind of tiring after Gaga's Babylon and Bey's BMS remix, but I'm just glad that Ari isn't giving us more tired trap/rnb. I'm so over that sound for her. At least she's returning to pop/dance.

  15. he knew exactly what he was doing, and even this tweet is worded to court more attention. in 2024 the public is so over this kind of manufactured controversy- we've seen it all before! we've seen it done better!

  16. Not only is it a catchy and accessible pop rock song, but it has a lot of character and multicultural elements. Most notably the native Andean instruments and sounds, like when the **** does that ever make it into popular music? Mixed with African drums, an amazing Arabic / middle eastern intro, just so iconic.

  17. I mean, he could’ve worded it better, but I see no issue with what he said tbh. I feel like people are making this a bigger deal than it needs to be. Using religion in music has been done for decades upon decades, so I don’t understand why people are complaining about it now. But also, coming from Little Monsters, we’re not ones to speak. Let’s not act like Gaga was received positively when Judas came out or when she started using heavy religious imagery in her music. It’s become appreciated over time, but people weren’t digging her back then for it either. Clearly he did take inspiration from people like Gaga or Madonna, but yeah, it’s his career at the end of the day and he’s gonna do whatever he wants with it. Btw, to everyone complaining about this, y’all are doing exactly what he wants. He knows that religious imagery is gonna get a reaction out of people and y’all are giving it to him in spades.

  18. Y'all... In the UK they count from 0, like there is ground floor - it doesn't go first floor second floor, it goes ground floor first floor... That's why they said LG6 - LG1 is LG0, The Fame Monster is her first album, she's actually 5 feet, not 5'1 cuz the first inch is ground inch, and one of her dogs isn't actually real cuz a dog multiplied by zero doesn't exist (it's probably Asia) - cultural differences

  31. ATRL’s Blade is back! Blade was an integral part of the Pre-Chromatica era, we had a lot of intel from him! Also this checks out with previous information that this will follow the timeframe of SL’s release. For those who are unaware of Blade, it may be worth your while going through some of his ATRL post history! Girls, we’re officially in touching distance

  35. AI-generated fake advertisements are making the rounds on social media again, this time using the voice and likeness of Taylor Swift promising free Le Creuset cookware sets. Scammers used artificial intelligence technology to craft a synthetic version of the singer’s voice, the New York Times reported Tuesday. The audio was played over various images of Le Creuset products and clips of Swift. In multiple social media ads, Swift’s voice is manipulated to sound as though she’s “thrilled” to be giving away to her “loyal fans” free cookware sets that are available due to a “packaging error.” Fans need only to offer up their personal information and pay a $9.96 shipping fee. Buyers are then unknowingly hit with recurring charges without ever actually receiving the pot. A spokesperson for Le Creuset told The Times in a statement that the brand is not not involved with Taylor Swift for any consumer giveaway. https://www.latimes.com/entertainment-arts/story/2024-01-10/taylor-swift-le-creuset-ai-deepfake-scam-ads

  38. According to my instincts I believe LG7 will be Gargar Binks' first pop album to debut with less than 200k first week. This will alarm fans BUT mister GaGa will promote the album well this time around and give us 3 proper singles and it will end up doing well overall. Plus the album will have a mini resurgence in streams once Joker 2 comes out. Thank you.

  42. I actually find it weird when anyone announces a social media break. I have friends who post long proclamations about needing to take a break for their mental health and “step back” and “take time for them” and even requesting that any IrL friends refrain from asking them about social media. And then like in a week (if that) they end up posting a “surprise I’m back!” Like just stop looking at it if you need a break. You don’t need to announce your (fake) exit.

  43. I'm envisioning the album as a fusion inspired by the musical styles of Fleetwood Mac, Stevie Nicks, ABBA, Elton John, Queen, Kate Bush, and, naturally, David Bowie.
