Semi-off topic, I really don't understand the hate for SL. It's dance music with fun, light-hearted lyrics and she's singing about how badly she wants someone and she'd fight for them even if she broke in two. Idk why so many people hate it, it's such a fun song

I’ve been thinking about this for a while but I’ve decided to come clean. Last year, I was at Enigma and Gaga looked right in my eyes. I was wearing a shirt that said “name your next album Chromatica” and the second she moved her eyes down to see my shirt they grew super wide. She yelled out of her mic “Bobby!” I knew she would use my idea. After the show I waited for her at the place she’d usually leave in her car. Well, she was super drunk that night but still wanted to drive, so she sped out of the parking garage and drove right over my foot. I was in pain, and when she stopped, she asked if I was ok. I said “yes Gaga, do you remember me? Look at my shirt” and she nodded. “I love that idea, I think I’ll use it” I was so happy! I asked if I could get something as memorabilia, hoping I’d at least get an autograph or a picture with her for my idea. Instead, she looked at my foot and said “That should bruise” and drove off. So even though it did bruise, I still think Gaga owes me something. Anyone else?

My one question is.....why was she singing about nations? What was she facing?

People who say this clearly have no idea how mental illness works. Yes many people who are suicidal do things like this. I've literally went to the cinema once with good spirits, once the movie began I was bombarded by intrusive thoughts and compulsions (OCD) which turned me into a zombie by the time the movie finished, I couldn't eat, couldn't talk either. And people who don't get it would say "Wtf, she was smiling and laughing at the beginning of the movie and now shes depressed?" yes. The brain is not reliable for stable emotions. Not to mention that Ive been suicidal during that time and I went grocery shopping with my mom, smiling in 'good spirits' while dying inside and thinking of best ways to die. And yes I even applied for a few courses for college. It means nothing, from the outside ull always seem okay and normal, but inside is another story. You can never know based on the outside

Just making this thread because I see a lot of childish drama everywhere after BloodPop said Gaga cancelled her original plans about the album once he told her the music 'wasn't her'. I mean as much as I love DJWS, it's quite funny to see Gaga asked DJWS and his team to work on ASIB telling him specifically not to sound like Lady Gaga. And we all were telling that The Cure (the last song he, Mark Nilan and Nick Monson produced for her) didn't sound like a Gaga song... I understand you may be disappointed about the fact your fave producer is not on her new album but let's not pretend Chromatica is not amazingly executed. The producers who worked on this are ****ing talented and BloodPop is such a good and supporting friend for her. Just my opinion but I'm very very fine with the final LG6 we got. I'm very happy she had the opportunity to make a classic dance music album with great producers such BloodPop, Burns, Axwell, Tchami, Klahr, Madeon, Skrillex, Rami Yacoub, Justin Tranter, Max Martin (and Boys Noize and SOPHIE in some capacity, still hoping we'll get some of their songs). Closing my point by saying the BloodPop hate coming from Monsters seems quite off knowing everything Gaga said yesterday about how supporting and important he has been in healing her depression the last few years.

Did she lie? I'm happy that she gives us literally b o p s, and I am excited about her upcoming debut album. My favorite Ava haters comment is that her songs sound like something from 2008—2011 — though they say "oh, pop music was so much better back then, I wish Gaga would work with RedOne".
