Didn’t the entire country have beef with Chappell Roan not too long ago for something that wasn’t even her fault?9 points

So essentially more Ukrainians will die as a result of this useless, imbecilic douche so he can use a throwaway line on these desperate pathetic rallies to try and prevent the inevitable wipeout at the Midterms. Scumbag, hopefully November is the beginning of the end for this pr***.8 points

This already looks way better than “Believer.” So happy it’s retconned. This looks like it’s going to be a direct sequel to The Exorcist: Legion (Part 3.) Super excited with the direction Mike Flanagan is going with this.6 points

All I can say is that I'm so proud of Gaga for being a kind person and breaking the cycle. She chooses to uplift the next generation with support grace and never jealousy. It's really heartwarming6 points

Personally I think if Gaga works with any major producers/DJs there are better ones that are more experimental and fit her style better.5 points

Honestly I think the Mayhem Ball Film will be really interesting for her career-wise. The show is an updated version of Coachella/Rio, which were live-streamed with much larger audiences. We also already have another Mayhem concert film, with Requiem. It’s clear that Gaga views the Mayhem Ball as something major for her artistically. She also seemed more creatively inspired than she has been in years, so I almost feel like she’s using it as a “segue” in the next era, which could continue exploring similar themes.4 points

I know it surprises you and you can't wrap your head around it when a song becomes a hit organically, but that's what happens when you make a good song and don't have to manipulate the charts xo4 points

A lot of people are obviously gonna hate on here because they all hate the actual popular EDM artists which is sad because if Gaga ever did an album with a John Summit/SG Lewis/Fcukers/Rufus Du Sol/Peggy Gou/Calvin Harris/David Guetta type of mainstream EDM artist…you don’t understand that it would work extremely well and be one of the best works. Most people on here are not musicians though and they don’t reasonably get that Gaga doesn’t have a “songwriting problem”. (Her songs are great. ) She has a production/cutting edge sound problem. Which is odd because if there is a pop icon who should have the best access to sound quality/experimentation- it’s Lady ****ing Gaga. Her productions and mixing have not been 10/10 since TFM. Gonna catch flack but EVEN Born This Way has some grubbly sonic choices and the mixing fell flatter and flatter for me until Chromatica (which is about a 8-9). Mayhem’s mixing is a 9 on songs like Abracadabra and LoveDrug and an 8 on songs like Garden of Eden l, Zombieboy, and Disease. The rest of the album is 7. Not unlistenable but definitely could be crispier and clearer sounding and the punches could be done better. If Gaga had someone who could take a song like Garden of Eden and give it a little more of a modern shellac with more punch, it’s a great pop song. But it doesn’t feel nostalgic, it just feels dated in parts. I wish she would stop caving on some aspects of her art (allowing cough cough Michael and others to write the major parts or contribute too much perspective on the big pop songs) and trust her perspective and penmanship wholeheartedly by herself, and then if she is gonna compromise on something… maybe let a great producer mix for her again. I appreciate her mixing and think she is pretty good. But it’s weird that she gives others so much access to lyrical contributions or conceptual contributions…but not more on the production side. Specifically the last stage which is mixing. I’d love her to consider going deep in the arsenal of modern up and coming electronic producers and selecting a few to work with that can elevate her message in a new way. It doesn’t even have to be straight up electropop- it could be a ****ing grunge synth album or an orchestral cloudy heaven like album or a Spanish guitar album- but I think she needs to get an EDM-head to do the mixing and production because quite frankly they are the best in the game in 2026 at making **** sound otherworldly, higher quality, and iconic.3 points

That‘s wilde … I get how she can be a bit of a pill for some people, but her mixtapes got me through some patchy times in undergrad … and then the rest of the albums just became little milestones in the memory‘s museum … but, to your point, random anecdote, when she went on tour for No Shame, I reached out to her publicist (I think?), I sent an email with few links from my blog (which, literally just an independent miscellany sort of pop culture site) where I wrote about Lily, and a request for a press pass … and she got right back and sorted the whole kit and kaboodle … but/and/so, all of that was just to circle back to your dream … Lily ended up holding an impromptu meet-and-greet for any fans who wanted to stay afterward … I was the last one in line and we just talked about her mixtapes and early MySpace days … she gave me a long-sleeve shirt and signed a ticket for my sister who couldn‘t make it … so, I don‘t know, from my experience she seemed human in an otherwise not so much industry … and, to your point, it‘d be solid for her to take home some Grammy hardware for West End Girl3 points

have been pitted against eachother? this sounds like blame everything on the press and the fandom, they indeed are at fault too, but the truth is most of the blame relies on both Taylor and Madonna themselves, the snowball would have been stop dead on its tracks if they didn't disrespect, shade and in taylor's case sue if denied credits, they feed the beast, that's how you get in this situation.3 points
