  3. It’s gotten to a point where silence is complacency.. because why have so many other celebrities openly shown support, knowing it could make them/their families a target, knowing whatever risks may come from showing support , but then we have a handful of celebrities who are just staying quiet.. its almost now more of a risk for a celebrity to stay quiet rather than show support, I think they’ll gain more respect if they show support for Palestine. do you think there is any excuse for Gaga’s silence?

  4. My initial reaction was "good, f*ck him" Then I kept reading his description and it changed to "Well...I guess I really don't approve of any human being kept in conditions like that. It's beneath us, no matter who the inmate is." Then he said this: So I'm kinda back to my initial reaction

  6. He sent out a message to his followers from prison: My situation is deteriorating. Despite spending 61 days in the SHU, the punitive unit for inmates who attack other prisoners and guards, I have once again had my conditions downgraded. Since the time I have come into this jail I have been forced to endure punitive housing. During my time here, I have watched men come and go, men who have stabbed other inmates. These men are only forced to stay in these cells for 7 days until rereleased to general population. I have been here for 61 days and counting. Today, I was informed that I was finally changing cells. However, I was moved to another cell inside the same SHU unit in far worse condition than my past one. I no longer have hot water of any kind. I no longer have air conditioning of any kind. I have a serious roach infestation, with 10/15 visible roaches on the ceiling and walls at any one time no matter how many I kill. I have stone-cold water and filth. That’s it. NOTHING else. My last cell was already the minimum which could be attributed to me inside of this prison, they’ve found a WORSE cell and forced me to move. There is absolutely no reason for this to be happening. I understand FDC Miami has received thousands of complaints due to the conditions they house inmates in. I understand that after large-scale protests, ICE detainees are no longer held in the SHU unit because of the damage done to their physical and mental health. So illegals are too good for these rooms, but I’m in one. I, an American citizen, here legally, with zero criminal record globally and no accusations of crime in the United States, am held in the SHU unit. This is a cruel and unusual punishment. This violates civil rights. This is being done to me on purpose. I have done nothing but show respect to every single guard. I have been kind to everyone. I have sat in the SHU for 61 days, longer than anyone currently in custody, sitting in the dark and filth focused on my breathing. I have endured. Yet they do not respect me for this, in fact the senior staff sees me as a fool for being patient and respectful. As prisoners who flood cells and attack guards get moved to better conditions and I am ignored. I have repeatedly requested the attention of senior staff regarding my conditions who are now refusing to talk to me. Last time their attention was requested he apparently replied “fµck that guy” Why? I've only been nice to him. I called him sir. I smile and nod my head. I've done nothing to this man which could be considered negative by the furthest stretch of any imagination. The last time he spoke to me, was two weeks ago, when during Rec he stormed into the yard with other guards, handcuffed me and Tristan behind our backs and screamed in our faces. He screamed with rage, as if somebody kicked his dog, foaming at the mouth… because we had extra books in our cell. He lost his mind over books. I've never seen a man so angry, over a book. I felt sorry for him. Tristan and I said nothing and apologized despite the fact it was pathetic. I haven’t seen him since, and he’s downgrading my conditions and leaving me to rot. I would like to add there are good staff here, hard-working men and women who know what is happening to me is unfair and understand this place isn’t fit for humans. They repeatedly apologize to me and state that the senior staff have never treated other high-profile prisoners this way. I'm the only one. Nobody knows the reason why this is happening. But someone is ordering it. This is my life, I am living it and it is brutal. I have been left with no choice but to take legal action against FDC Miami for the conditions of my confinement. This is a civil rights issue. I do not ask for special treatment. I asked to be treated the same as any other prisoner and American citizen. In fact, I ask to be treated as well as an ILLEGAL. Not only am I in jail, I have been downgraded by 95% from what normal prisoners receive. I have prepared a package, currently with my legal and PR teams, of every single infraction I have witnessed in this facility. The corruption, the lack of recreation, the filth, the unsanitary conditions. ANYONE who has previously complained against this facility can contact my legal team. I understand they have tortured thousands of people, and all of them were not even treated as badly as I am being treated. There is no ambiguity here - what is happening to me is against the law. There is absolutely no reason for FDC to be treating men this way, whether they are American citizens or otherwise. They are deliberately torturing me. The Romanians treated me better than this. To all Main Stream News outlets, if you want to understand why this facility received thousands of complaints, I have the story and the proof - contact my team immediately. I would never kill myself. https://x.com/Cobratate/status/2100556130233528374

  7. If for example she got rid of an opening act for speaking out in support I'd agree that she should say something, that isn't the case though and would Gaga tweeting "free Palestine" or "justice for Gaza" help in any meaningful way or just at this point seem "performative" and give way to arguments that distract from what really should be spoken about?

  8. I'm absolutely team "f*ck Israel sideways and upside down" but just random businesses that happen to exist in Israel isn't inherently evil. If that were the case, wouldn't Gaga be even more evil for being American? I mean...the US has arguably been more destructive

  12. She has worn Palestinian designers, has spread the Free Palestine message on her tour screens and has allowed a Palestinian poet to use her platform and name through her charity. That is more than celebrities just posting empty messages tbh. Do you need to say “I am not a Nazi” for people to know you arent a Nazi? Or do you simply not support Nazi related views and people automatically know? I get nuance is absolutely abysmally dead nowadays, but I think you can tell that someone who’s clearly a humanitarian—and has done more than those rich people liking or posting Instagram posts—is clearly against modern day Nazi’s.

  16. If this is about the Lightspeed thing it’s already been proven it’s an American company that has a division in Israel, something being in Israel doesn’t mean it’s funded by the IDF nor the government—which is where the problems are. And until she says anything negative about Palestinians, is directly funded by the IDF or the Israeli government—I’m personally not going to judge her. We should be pressuring government officials and world leaders the way some people on here pressure celebrities whose opinions are entirely inconsequential—Gaga’a included. Moral police the literal leaders not the cattle.

  17. That would actually be wholly unnecessary for her to do at this point. Not everyone has to be political at all times. The Israel-Palestine conflict shouldn’t be some litmus test. Yes, what’s happened in Palestine is atrocious, but people shouldn’t be expected to comment on all things at all times. With that logic, you should expect all celebrities to discuss all geopolitical conflicts at all times such as the conflicts happening currently in Sudan, Congo, Myanmar, etc.

  18. Girl, respectfully stfu. That is so nasty and horrible to women who can't carry their own babies. Implying that if you don't carry it yourself it's not your own child. That's disgusting behaviour. Do better. Some people on this very forum might have struggled and required a surrogate to have a child Also are you forgetting that Gaga has fibromyalgia, migraines, and is over 40? There's a much higher risk of miscarriage after 40, and when you're pregnant you can't take medications. It's more dangerous for women who have fibromyalgia. She wouldn't be able to take medications for her health OR mental health which could have affected her in many ways It's her decision and to judge so harshly is very short sighted A doctor could've looked at her case and said "it's not recommended that you carry a child because you could be in intense pain with no pain relief which, in combination with your age, could lead to miscarriage. And with your mental health record it would be dangerous to you and yourself if you couldn't have access to your antipsychotics" we KNOW Gaga would have wanted to carry a baby if she could. But we also don't know anything about her situation. She could've done fertility tests and found out she couldn't actually conceive. Remember she also has trauma with being sexually abused and left pregnant in the past? The body remembers. For gods sake. It is such a complicated and personal decision and not yours to judge

  19. Would that not just cause something similar to the Streisand effect? For now, despite her being the subject of speculation, she's literally not a part of it. It's just a bunch of randos saying this and that. I don't want her piggybacking Macklemore or doing it just to soothe the allegations made by people who are honestly never gonna believe she isn't a zionist regardless no matter what she says or does. When/if she speaks up about this topic I'd rather she do so on her own without provocation and without sh*tty reasons like "Gaga, these random people on TikTok are saying you support a genocide because you said Tel Aviv was pretty 12 years ago!!"

  21. Agreed. Celebrities speaking out is helpful when it brings awareness…. but we’re aware. The world is aware. I don’t think there’s a single Gaga fan who hasn’t been made aware of the crisis. And like, not every celebrity is a diplomat with a robust understanding of world conflicts. I don’t think that should be a required part of being a pop star. To me this just kind of feels like a “which side is she on” witch hunt and purity test, which is a crazy thing Americans do about other Americans during crises that primarily affect other parts of the world. It’s almost like an American narcissism that the USA and its celebrities need to be the headline. I challenge people to bring this energy to the elected difference makers in the government who can make more of an impact.

  22. Celebrities are not politicians. It’s not their obligation to weigh in on every issue. The whole “silence is complicity” is such a false position. It’s essentially trying to control someone’s behaviour by threatening to make an assumption about them if they dont behave the way you want them to.

  23. This part, but also: She and Michael have (alleged) Israeli-based investors in their companies, and I'm sure they have (allegedly) invested in Israeli medical technologies. Not because they support Israel as an ethno-state, but because there is a legitimately large medical technology industry; furthermore: No It's legitimately the one "stain" on her career that I can think of, but again, she isn't a politician. It's better to either be completely transparent and to the point ala Macklemore, Chappell, etc., or just stay silent if she's gonna "both sides" it. Not that I think she believes in the "both sides" view, but because of the (alleged) ties her business ventures have there. I mean, my government just authorized $2.8 billion worth of weapons to Israel, so U.S. citizens might as well be considered Israeli investors atp too

  25. Outerbio is not an AI pharmaceutical company It's a biotechnology and research company focused on skin health. They use predictive AI powered by machine learning models which is already used in modern medicine for decades. Some people will even consider useful scientific advancements as evil these days whenever they see the word AI

  27. No, she shouldn’t. You know Gaga, and basically every other big artist like Beyonce or Taylor, would’ve done exactly the same as Ed Sheeran, right? Gaga likely has a very sensible opinion on the conflict. She probably supports a two-state solution. But for most pro-Palestinian people anything other than “Israel should be wiped off the map” is not enough. These are not reasonable people. Gaga now has a half-Jewish child, and her safety is her priority now. Anti-Semitism is now normalized and even seen as cool by younger generations, it’s at an all time high since the Holocaust. These people can get very violent. Just a few months ago, a terrorist in Michigan tried to murder over 100 children at a Jewish daycare.

  39. It’s Jenny from the jail block. A Minnesota woman has gone viral online for her shoplifting arrest mugshot, which bears an uncanny resemblance to chart-topper Jennifer Lopez. Cyrena Anne Quast, 35, was arrested on Aug. 30 after she was accused of stealing two double packs of power tool batteries worth around $580 from a store in Monticello, according to a criminal complaint obtained by The Watch MN. Quast reportedly admitted to swiping the battery packs and was booked on a gross misdemeanor theft charge, online arrest listings show. But her alleged sticky fingers isn’t what’s being talked about. Quast’s striking resemblance to the 57-year-old international superstar in her mugshot taken by the Wright County Sheriff’s Office has drawn massive attention online. https://nypost.com/2026/09/16/us-news/minnesota-shoplifters-mugshot-goes-viral-for-striking-resemblance-to-jennifer-lopez/

  40. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lightspeed_Venture_Partners “Lightspeed Venture Partners is an American venture capital firm focusing on seed stage, early stage investments and growth stage investments in the enterprise, fintech, consumer and healthcare sectors.” literally a 5 second google search girl, not to mention the about page on their own website tells you they founded it in San Francisco.
