The ArtRave show (not the tour) is probably the most avant-garde thing she's done. Every part of that show was experimental (sometimes to its own detriment). Everything else I would brand as more theatrical than avant-garde. They all went for avant-garde elements in the fashion, or specific staging moments but otherwise were just her take on existing concepts. Like the BTWB castle is amazing, but I personally don't consider it avant-garde as its just using theatre style staging on a concert tour.
