The Disease visuals fit the song perfectly, tho. The whole point of the album and era being called MAYHEM is about her persona containing multitudes, so imo, the juxtaposition of heavier/grittier cuts on the album and lighter/groovier/poppier cuts, as well as darker visuals and campier visuals etc. is kind of the point lol

I mean, I don’t wanna harp on this again, but it’s neither a sample nor an interpolation. Asking he be credited on DWAS: REQUIEM feels like saying Moroder should be credited on Future Lovers by Madonna because the instrumental owes so much stylistically to I Feel Love. The credit, imo, was saving face because people were jumping on the bandwagon and she didn’t want the bad PR, but if he took her to court, I don’t think he would’ve won.

God Im so shocked. Ive always loved Kavinksy and was even making some synthwave at the weekend thinking of him. DWAS from Requiem is one of the best things she's ever done, and its riddled with him. RIP

Mayhem the songs themselves are not that chaotic..most are very normal and tame bops. Killah maybe is the standout in that regard? None of those songs are crazy or wild (oh also I’m disregarding the deluxe tracks cause they did not make it onto the official tracklist) also the first visuals for mayhem, the disgusting makeup n everything for the deluxe album cover photo shoot and disease MV..but then the majority of the songs are cute and pretty and then abracadabra was an amazing second single but nothing else on the album sounded like it and she never gave another MV even close to as good as it..

R.I.P, Also I have seen too many people here and especially on twitter joking about this and just wtf. Why does being a "stan" make people think they can say things like that? It goes beyond just being disrespectful or insensitive and goes into borderline cult behavior. I mean imagine if Gaga died and another fandom started joking about her death and how that would feel. Gaga is someone who promotes kindness and love and I think her fans should remember that more often. I am not one to usually moralize but I do feel there are some lines you do not cross and this is one of them. I get dark humor as well yes but there is a time and place is all. I believe it's her team which messed up with it delay-wise. "I wanted to infuse it with influence from musicians and artists I really have admired and been inspired by my whole career. Kavinsky was one of my big influences for a lot of albums, and I wanted to flip Die With A Smile harnessing “Nightcall"
