Lady Gaga and her fiancé, Michael Polansky, stepped out for date night at the wedding of her longtime manager and close friend, Bobby Campbell, and his husband. Gaga and Polansky attended the Saturday night ceremony at the Walt Disney Concert Hall in downtown Los Angeles, where Campbell and Robert García tied the knot surrounded by family and friends. "Free Woman" singer kept a low profile throughout the evening, blending in with the rest of the guests instead of stealing the spotlight. And despite her superstar status, our sources say she did not perform during the reception. Instead, we're told "Gypsy Woman" singer Crystal Waters provided the night's entertainment, getting guests on their feet during the celebration.21 points

She’s teasing her new album coming this September! For this one, she was fully inspired by the world’s reception of The Life Of A Showgirl, how heavily criticized it has been since its release and about the récent controversy around her wedding. Taylor Swift’s Martyr, in stores 9/25/2026.13 points

Glad she managed to keep a low profile with no invasive paps and could just enjoy her time celebrating a friend like a normal person.8 points

The "You and I" music video barely gets talked about compared to other videos from that era, or even from any other era. On this day in 2011, it was filmed in Nebraska. Let's give it some love. I remember watching it as a kid and being mesmerized by it. Everything about it is just perfect. some fashion details i took from lamaisongaga:7 points

2 hits that we will always know and sing along with and one that we will forget about it by the end of the year...7 points

The final US dates are next week in Boston. I would've expected Gaga to appear in LA or NY but that didn’t happen.7 points

Lmaoooooooooooo John Wayne is a great video in the context of the Joanne era7 points

Okay so first watch this video: The actual leak is in the description. It starts late in the video, presumably to avoid copyright. Apparently, this vocal leak dates to 2016 before AI existed, and apparently the OG video that resurfaced in 2022/2023 got copyrighted (this was also linked). Interestingly, I remember that someone in 2016 actually suggested that a track called Frankensteined (or something of the sort) existed a full year before Lady Gaga sang it backstage at the Joanne World Tour in 2017. When it gets to tomorrow I can try to find it and link it. What do we think?6 points

Vanish Into You was the first song she made for the album. Last was probably Die With A Smile.6 points

you guys slammed the disease video for not having dance choreography, none of you would be able to handle a "rock" era or any sort of unconventional music era, you guys keep her restricted in a commercial box and straight up refuse to even analyse her art just because it's not a hit or she didn't wear this or it was produced by him etc personally, i need her to go down the NIN route6 points

She's not exerting herself in any way to produce this low effort slop, she's not tired6 points

I thought her name was “the I like it rough chanteuse”6 points

In the nicest way possible, I feel Gaga fans like the idea of her going rock more, than the actual rock.6 points

PC was more towards the end because she wanted to scrap everything in favour of a more PC sounding album but michael encouraged her to stick with it or she'd just keep scraping again and again5 points

Never heard this song Never heard I Knew Variants, Variants Knew Me either Billboard charts have lost their purpose during the streaming era tbh5 points

That's what I mean. I have no doubts she could get an album together in a vacuum, but I don't see LMs at large actually embracing the era etc. Does anybody remember all the stank faces when she brought out Starlight x Surgeon for a 30-45 mins set before Artrave? Confront a large portion of this fan base (and Gaga critics) with anything that's artistically demanding in any way shape (of a woman) or form and they'll riot. And don't get me started on the "there's no proper choreography with 20 dancers" for "Single xyz"5 points

These fanmade robotic "ma ma pa pa pa" sounding snippets don't seem credible at all. 2014-2015 was a time when Gaga was doing some of her most vocally challenging performances and eventually ended up recording Joanne.5 points

They've called it woke because Lupita, Zendaya & Elliot Page got cast. And they have a combined screen time of 15 minutes in a 172 minute film.5 points

Since she wanted to rework the entire album to sound more like Perfect Celebrity, I think it was actually written towards the end. OT: I think she also said that Blade Of Grass was written in the last sessions during her Q&A with LMs4 points
