nahh TUDUM was fun but too corny and very typical of Gaga. The GRAMMYs performance of Abracadabra is far superior. The mature simplicity of it, the rock and analogue remix (actually featuring Andrew Watt and NIN drummer Josh Freese!), the emphasis on, and celebration of, music tech and the female as the main producer, the beloved McQueen archive fashion, the camera work, the overall dark atmosphere and electrifying presence of Gaga.. all came together as something so classic Gaga yet also so new, fresh, sophisticated, artistic and innovative.

They say timing is everything when it comes to putting on a show and Katy Perry was right on time last month for her FIFA World Cup performance, as the singer dazzled a sold-out SoFi Stadium crowd as part of the global soccer tournament’s official U.S. Opening Ceremony on June 12. The singer took to the pitch just before kickoff to perform “Wonder,” an euphoric EDM cut from her much-maligned 2024 album, 143, which is seemingly back in the zeitgeist two years later. Official on-demand U.S. streams of the album have been steadily climbing virtually all year, and reached a new weekly peak for 2026 in the tracking week ending June 18, with nearly 10.9 million streams, according to Luminate. 143 debuted at No. 6 on the Billboard 200 albums chart when it was released in September of 2024, it marked one of her lowest-performing album debuts to date. The album was generally panned by reviewers, with critics bemoaning what they believed to be uninspired production, while even longtime KatyCats cringed at lead single “Woman’s World,” which saw the singer re-team with writer-producer Dr. Luke. But almost two years after 143 was first released, and with the promotional tactics and lead single a more distant memory, it may be time to give the album a second spin — and a second opinion. The anthemic refrain and buoyant lyrics of “Wonder” were a joyous party starter to welcome the World Cup, but the rest of Perry’s dance-pop record is similarly ready for a rose-colored revival, as an adrenaline shot to help ease the nerves of a weary nation, and as a frivolous anecdote to some of the more tepid confessional releases currently on the charts. Picture a drive up the PCH on a postcard-sunny California day, as the beat drops on 143’s rapturous second single, “Lifetimes,” with sunroof open and windows down. The soulful house vibe of “Lifetimes” gives way to the Crystal Waters-samping (and Doechii-assisted) “I’m His, He’s Mine,” which failed to hit the Billboard Hot 100, but is a guaranteed groove at balls and block parties alike. The Eurodance appeal of “Crush” would well, crush, at Nikki Beach (or any beach for that matter), and it’s impossible not to wind your hips around the slinky pulsating beats on “Truth.” While fans were divided over many of 143’s album tracks, “All the Love” and “Nirvana” were consistently name-dropped as favorites, and the synthy electronic cuts float in the air as two songs destined for a night out in Ibiza — or the gay village. In the right settings — and with measured expectations — Perry’s album is also just plain damn fun. 143 isn’t a groundbreaking album, but it can still make for a great summer soundtrack. The weather is balmy, spirits are high and the country feels ready to rally. Maybe we’re just feeling optimistic, but 143 seems primed to finally have its time in the sun.

I feel the energy of Abracadabra in TUDUM was unmatched (tied with GRAMMYs but i think TUDUM surpasses it)...the BIG hair, the lipstick smear, that red dress.... Even the Zombieboy performance was amazing, I hoped she would've inculcated it more in TMB

God, I miss the egg-shaped bar soap most of all The body wash was good too... but something about THE SOAP itself was extra potent/longer-lasting than even the perfume itself FAME needs to make a bold return in the future

I think this is the answer, tbh. All of the promo stuff with Abra was probably on lock well before the release (Mastercard cross promo for MV as well as Grammys release plan), so I think they would’ve liked Disease to succeed, but knew Abra was the real hit of the album

This one looks absolutely feral I can't wait If you haven't seen his films - The Witch (2015), The Lighthouse (2019), The Northman (2022) and Nosferatu (2024) - I strongly advise you do as he is by far one of the most exciting and innovative filmmakers around.

It’s a cult classic, her best music video by far, GP loves it, more chances for Beyonce to join her on tour and perform it with her (yes I’m delusional), it’s a fun moment etc etc. I think it does need to be revitalised of sorts, maybe elements of the Electrolightz or Alphabeat remixes added & Bey’s verse played on playback. But it should absolutely be part of the next tour, it is a staple of Gaga’s career.

Sadly she can’t make it anymore because Troy sold all the rights to it back to Coty from under her from the bottle design that Nick made to the copyright of having a perfume called “Lady Gaga Fame” that’s why they had to rebrand Haus Labs when they made makeup and they couldn’t call it Haus Laboratories by Lady Gaga because Coty owns that copyright too, so it was simply called Haus Laboratories as a singular and then when the clean rebrand happened they could finally add her name to it’s title because Haus Labs by Lady Gaga wasn’t a registered trademark. Thats also why she can’t release any perfumes under the new label anymore because any perfume that has Lady Gaga in its name is owned by Coty. That’s why when she was the face of the Valentino perfume her name was not allowed to be used in any of the marketing or in the adverts. Coty even reused the entire bottle design for an official licensed Black Panther perfume when the first movie came out at Marvel. Apparently the scent was exactly the same too so they just changed the bottle colour and packaging.

I hope this genuinely is a production issue and not her health. i wish her all the best shes a great artists.

It shouldnt. Not even one of her best singles. TEOG (studio version), MTN, PI or ROM should get their spotlights. Not to mention miss Abra needs to stay, along with some other Mayhem tracks. So I hope she is gonna skip Lovegame, Alejandro and Telephone all in the next tour
