She talks about how memories are not recycled like atoms and particles in quantum physics. They can be lost forever. It’s sort of like her past is an unfinished painting and as the artist of that painting she must fill in all the ugly holes, and make it beautiful again. It’s not that she has been dishonest; it’s just that she loathes reality.14 points

It’s so strange how much of a non-entity he is in my life despite how huge he is. I literally don’t know a single person that watches his videos, nor has YouTube ever recommended me one.11 points

I honestly think HML is Gaga best song she has released. The gritty sound, the genius lyrics, and the robotic bridge. It’s perfection9 points

I just can't look at her. Her weight loss is very concerning. She needs help, not a world tour. I feel for people suffering from ED, must be so triggering and I feel bad for her fans who watch her and get influenced.9 points

Kinda getting tired of the Babylon studio version slander around here smh, this demo and the Haus Labs version do not even come CLOSE Also correct me if I'm wrong but the only times Gaga "released" a demo version of anything were SoFY & Burqa/Aura, yeah? I don't think she'll ever officially release her demos tbh8 points

I’m sorry but anytime I hear one of her bs speeches all I can think about is the scott swift email. Her rich parents didn’t sacrifice anything they were determined to make her famous no matter what.7 points

And so what omfg it’s a BANGER and one of her best songs EVER imo. Who cares about how tf music evolves listen to what you like not what’s trending rn and then **** old music for not sounding like that! I’ve never understood this “dated” thing and it really infuriates me6 points

I’m so confused how you could hear sombr of all the people who make their own music and go, “He’s the future of music.” like you really have to not listen to much new music for that to be the case, I’m so serious. also not to be shady but ofc the first up and comer she goes out of her way to praise at every chance she gets is a white guy meanwhile she tries to nerf every woman who breaths…6 points

This album charts a full arc of a single relationship. The first half of the album is called “girl so in love” and the second half is called “you seem pretty sad”. The first half is upbeat songs about how infatuated and in love she is, but even then there are little hints of anxiety in them suggesting it may not last. The song “purple” is the turning point midway where she’s realizing that being in this relationship is actually making her lose herself and it starts sounding happy but the final line is that she’s starting to feel sad. The second half of the album explores her feelings and learnings after the breakup. The songs are actually musically very varied more than her other albums and her storytelling skills are the most evolved and mature they’ve even been. It’s such a brilliant, beautiful album I’m so impressed and in love with it.6 points

It'd be more realistic that a younger generation has jazz become popular again and the 80 year old gaga fans will be like "THIS IS REAL MUSIC" playing GH and HML whilst breaking our backs doing the ROM routine as the psych ward staff try and usher us back into bed6 points

He's also been regularly accused (and sued) for dangerous/negligent treatment of workers & show participants alongisde numerous lawsuits alleging bullying & sexual harassment. Jake Weddle alleges mental & physical torture. Then there's also all the **** that came to light with Ava Kris Tyson messaging minors, him hiring a registered sex offender and featuring them in videos targeted at children & Mr Beast personally owned "lolicon" art and displaed it in his home alongside interacting with lolicon artists online. He also fired an employee for lashing out at him & other staff for making sex jokes about his toddler. He has also been credibly accused of faking his charity work including faking building a hospital for content. And thats just a short list.5 points

Exactly. She'll jump on the hot new thing (Sabrina, Ice Spice, Olivia whom she was threatened by, now Sombr). Everything about her is so fake and calculated, the only explanation is that she has some untreated personality disorder. I wouldn't put it past her white girl/boy fanbase to overlook and not care how heinous she is. I can't wait until her MAGA texts are revealed one day lmao.5 points

Yeah everyone is talking about it and not for the reasons she'd like... I hope she gets help eventually before it's too late, but it must be 1000x times harder to realize something is wrong and take that step when you're constantly scrutinized.5 points

Cool! Hope it helps TEOG’s recurrent streams. I feel like it was a huge success back then, but it is kinda forgetten right now.5 points

That's what ED does to a person. It warps your perception. In her mind she truly believes that she looks the best she ever did. Look at the photos she posted on her Instagram, she's clearly happy about the way she looks and doesn't even consider it something to be shy or ashamed about. It's scary to think that she might end up like Karen Carpenter.5 points

She's always so talkative until it comes to things that actually matter but don't affect her5 points

A song that perfectly captures the pain, tumult, and dissonance of heartbreak and disillusionment at an identity level iktr. IMO part of what’s so brilliant about Disease and PI is that they’re both (to differing extents) anti pop songs: angular, dissonant, building tension but never releasing etc. Gaga’s ability to do that is a part of what makes her such a gifted writer, imo. You have to know the rules incredibly well in order to break them, bend them, make people purposefully uncomfortable etc. I live for Miss Gar using the form (and the concept) of a pop song to create the visceral sense of gnawing at the bars of your enclosure. Also creating a pop song about feeling disillusioned with your public persona that’s also musically antagonistic towards being a conventional pop song is just deliciously meta. For anyone who’s interested, here’s a great podcast from two musicologists breaking down the structure of the song and tying it to other common musical motifs in Gaga’s catalogue:5 points

Bad Romance is her best song, all around. Bloody Mary is her best-produced instrumental. Heavy Metal Lover has her single best lyric, one of her catchiest melodies & her very best bridge They are the holy trinity of LG songs... & they always will be5 points

I think the best thing about stanning Gaga is that she LOVES music and being creative. The downside (for some fans, not me) is that means when she’s true to herself, she always finds new and creative ways to express herself, and that’s not always pop. This, however, means that she is creating a persona as someone who is a chameleon and fits into any genre or style, allowing her to try different things and it not feel forced or weird. I feel like as she ages, she will lean into the classical, jazz style music and I think she’ll transcend to a legend; Like someone who maybe isn’t always top of the charts, but someone who is universally respected as an artist. She’s solidifying herself as an all around, master of entertainment, not just a pop star. So yes, I do.5 points

"Thats all there ever going to be" So an educator is a bad thing? Makes sense since the only work ive ever seen him be part of he was consistently playing a dumb ass. Intelligence must be intimidating to a weak man like him5 points

considering Jazz and Piano was hugely successful and consistantly sold out the dolby theatre, i'd say JazzGa already is very popular with the GP, regardless of what opinions this fnadom has on the topic.4 points
