The whole thing with people constantly attaching the word 'solo' to Gaga's achievements is getting rediculous. I never see any other fanbase do that. Nobody cares about that, but LMs really got themselves gaslighted by some haters.8 points

I feel it’s more a negotiation. He’s wanting her for the weekend, she’s more looking for a one night stand. also, the power of could… means none of it’s actually real.7 points

I'm desperately trying to understand why this is the pride variant? Because it was announced in June?6 points

I mean it's pretty obvious that this song is about a high Snow White with a spank fetish trying to organise an orgy in a biblical garden with seven fembot dwarves and mechanical baby chickens,.. featuring a light technician called DJ. Just like Disease is about an aspiring medical doctor with hiccups trying to prescribe medication to a traumatised, screaming baby with a rather pungent stomach bug.5 points

What makes no sense at all it’s this line “so you say yes and she’s a partisan” Like suddenly we’re at ww25 points

did she confuse snow white for the biblical fruit story!? also what's with all these fruits? is she aligning with fruits this f****** month? how very corporate of her! also if it's a snow white story, where are the magical sleepy grumpy midgets?!5 points

It is definitely the most deliberately made pro-queer song. While others hide behind it, it is the biggest pop song of all time to intentionally announce its gayness and not shy away from the fact/distort the fact that that is exactly what it is about. Where songs like I’m Coming Out and Express Yourself and We Are Family could have vague straight meanings and the gay meaning is under-coded, Born This Way is the only big mega pop song to reverse this. It’s obviously pro-queer but it could also be about other straight things if you wanted to interpret it that way. It’s a gay, straight-inclusive pop hit.5 points

Melanie Martinez for sure But my personal favorite is they are simple, yet all perfectly manage to capture the vibe of the record they belong to. The attention to styling is very evident from the neon yellow/green of the NFR jacket, the buttery yellow dress for blue banisters, the red bra underneath the white shirt on born to die, even the small details like the pink floppy hat of honeymoon. Lana is also an artist where almost any photo from the shoots could have been the cover and it still make sense.5 points
